Galileo the Funky Saxman Outfit for Candyman

One day Candyman walked in a music store. He went missing for two weeks after that. Then appeared the illustrious Galileo the Funky Saxman, or at least that's how he introduced himself after giving East Shine City an unforgettable night of mindbogglingly intergalactic saxophone solos.

Additional Changes!

    • A Candyball will now hit players swinging with their back to a wall
    • Candyman can only parry a Candyball once
    • Parrying a Candyball removes the hat from it
    • Candymans wall teleport is easier to perform
    • Nitros additional special activation sparks are no longer misaligned
    • pivots are easier to perform with simultaneous direction inputs

New DLC and ranked season in a week

The additional change list won't be as massive as last time, but still significant enough to warrant a new ranked season. (you can check them out early in the public-beta, the changelist is in our discord server!)

That's right, you've got a week left to make your mark on a relatively short season 8!

Speaking of which, the community modding expert in chief MrGentle has created an excellent public leaderboard website: https://blazelb.xyz

Unlike the steam front-end we've been using to archive previous seasons it is not limited to displaying the top 200 players and can instead fetch you the entire list. It even tracks daily rank and score movements.

But here is the absolute cherry on top: It also exposes player statistics we never got around to properly present you ourselves. If the steam profile is public, you can view the win and play rates per character.

Firefighter Max Pressure Outfit for Jet

When Jet caught her breath she was just outside of the burning hideout. Smoke was already filling the badly lit alleyway. Then it hit her; her trusty jetpack was still inside. Flames were spitting out of the doorway, it didn't look like she was able to go back in like this. She ran out to the street and saw the Shine City fire brigade setting up their gear. She pleaded to them to try and find the jetpack, to no avail. They sure weren't risking their lives for some 'toy'. Jet, not one to give up on a friend, smoothly zipped into one of their spare suits and jumped into the fire.

    • added the gravity ball to lobby options
    • lobby options have more controls and toggles
    • head size cheats are now available for the host of an online lobby
    • sped up ranking animation
    • fixed ranking down to an empty division

[h2]Jet[/h2]

    • can now special from a successful parry
    • can now taunt hover after actions
    • can only hover twice per jump
    • can now hover jumping out of a throw
    • can now taunt hover jumping out of crouch
    • crouching no longer resets a stored charge special

[h2]Dice[/h2]

    • special is slower along the wall
    • can now use special without buffer at low speeds
    • the special will not bunt out, if Dice is already bunting himself
    • holding down-forward now bounces the special away from him
    • can no longer aim his special right inside the right corner

[h2]Sonata[/h2]

    • charge ground special now doubles speed on the last redirect instead of the first
    • last special ground hit no longer cancels her actions, unless it's an expression
    • crouch and expressions no longer reset a stored charge special

[h2]Switch[/h2]

    • can no longer special during powerup phases
    • will no longer restart hit lag using special on the last frame

[h2]other fixes & changes[/h2]

    • Jet, Nitro, Grid, Toxic and Dust now also have a spark effect for gaining full special meter
    • Latch and Toxic will always bunt towards the wall when holding up
    • Latch can now jump cancel his wall release like Toxic
    • spike specials now always reset the smash multiplier
    • you can now can turn cancel the whole run start
    • a pivot can now end earlier
    • Doombox' crouch special should no longer desync against a blaze getup
    • slot priority conflict on grabbing a buffered parry fixed
    • some remote parry interactions have been fixed
    • visualiser outfit effects now scale with your audio settings

Before the beta ends, it's time to put the gravity ball through a final test. With a tournament!
