Shining-Gold Super Winner Outfit for Nitro

Long ago, when he was still in his early adulthood, Nitro spent his days doing odd jobs that needed muscle. One of these stints was fighting in the local wrestling league. In his biggest match to date he accidentally pulled off the mask of his opponent and an opportunistic thief made off with it mid-match. Nitro immediately stopped fighting and vowed to continue the fight only when he returned it. And he left and never returned. Some say he is still looking for the mask to finish that legendary match.

Additional Changes!

This update focuses on some upgrades under the hood. If you've had performance issues, randomly dropped inputs or your favourite peripheral outright not working, we might have you covered now.
    • updated Unity version to fix a memory leak This specifically stops the game from slowing down during the story mode at higher resolutions,
but may improve performance elsewhere too!

    • updated Rewired to the latest version This one brings improvements for how inputs are handled. Here is a highlight from the list:
Fixed issue causing fast button taps to be missed at high input thread frequency and low frame rates.
    • fixed upside down story comics on Mac and Linux Your handstand is commendable, but no longer required to view the comics upright!
Community Shoutout!

There are a couple of community tournaments hosted on our discord server this weekend.

To fire you up for those, do you remember the Lethal League Blazin' Combo video from two years ago?

Galileo the Funky Saxman Outfit for Candyman

One day Candyman walked in a music store. He went missing for two weeks after that. Then appeared the illustrious Galileo the Funky Saxman, or at least that's how he introduced himself after giving East Shine City an unforgettable night of mindbogglingly intergalactic saxophone solos.

New DLC and ranked season in a week

It's about time. And that time is in a week.
The next DLC outfits are coming.

The additional change list won't be as massive as last time, but still significant enough to warrant a new ranked season. (you can check them out early in the public-beta, the changelist is in our discord server!)

That's right, you've got a week left to make your mark on a relatively short season 8!

Speaking of which, the community modding expert in chief MrGentle has created an excellent public leaderboard website: https://blazelb.xyz

Unlike the steam front-end we've been using to archive previous seasons it is not limited to displaying the top 200 players and can instead fetch you the entire list. It even tracks daily rank and score movements.

But here is the absolute cherry on top: It also exposes player statistics we never got around to properly present you ourselves. If the steam profile is public, you can view the win and play rates per character.

Looking to fine tune your competitive game or learn about opponents in your next tournament? This is the place to check out.
