The International 2022 Talent and Qualifier Team Stickers

The Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ) are less than two weeks away and with it the final teams will qualify to The International 2022.

Today's update brings us the Team and Player Stickers for all 6 Regional Qualifier winners as well as the 12 teams that will be competing in the LCQ. Find your favorite players and team stickers in four different qualities (Basic, Glitter, Holo, Gold) by opening Sticker Capsules or searching the Marketplace for the ones you need, and stick them to your heroes to show them off during your games or your sticker collection to display in your profile and earn some Battle Points.

For those of you that want to support your favorite team, The Supporter's Club Fan Bundles are also available now. Get your favorite team's Sprays, Voice Lines, Emoticons and Wallpapers by purchasing their Bronze, Silver and Gold packs.

Finally, the update introduces the list of talent participating in The International 2022. With well over 150 talent across the English, Chinese, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese languages, we hope you'll be watching the best teams in the world commentated by the best analysts and casters, no matter which language you choose.

Each of the five primary languages will also feature a Talent capsule featuring a limited collection of talent stickers. Just like Player and Team sticker, you can place these on your Collection or a Hero, but additionally, if you place a Holo or Gold sticker of your favorite caster, you will permanently gain access to their unique TI2022 voice line. Find more information on Talent and their stickers in the Talent Page of The International 2022 Battle Pass.

As with previous stickers and fan bundles, 50% of the revenue from stickers will go distributed among the teams or talent involved in each Capsule or Bundle.

Dota 2 average player count hits three-year record high

We know Tinder has matched with a MOBA and it isn't Dota 2, but it looks like quite a few more people are matching with this MOBA themselves following the Dota 2 update that improves the 2022 battle pass and offers everyone a free week of Dota Plus. Why do we think that? Well, because the Dota 2 average player count on Steam has risen above 500,000 for the first time in over three years - which is a huge achievement for a game that's this old.

Spotted by Reddit user 'eabold' and confirmed by The Loadout via Steam Charts, Valve's free-to-play MOBA boasted an average player count of 500,013 at around 17:00 PST / 20:00 EST on September 25 and 01:00 BST on September 26. This surprising revelation is built upon by the fact that the game's peak player count for the last 30 days is an impressively high 867,484.

While it's worth noting that at the time of writing this average player count has dropped slightly to just under 498,000 in the last 30 days, it's still an incredible feat. If you're wondering why Dota 2 is rising in popularity again at the moment, it could be down to the aforementioned update. However, it could also be down to 'Grubby'.

Tinder has matched with a MOBA and it isn't Dota 2

We know dating sites aren't for everyone, but if you're out there looking to find The One online, you may have found yourself setting up a Tinder account at some point. Of course, there are a million and one jokes about Tinder out there, but some gamers think they've found the ultimate laugh. If you're setting up a new account on the dating site, you can select League of Legends as an interest, but not Dota 2. Is this the dating site weighing in on the ultimate debate on which of these MOBA games is better, or just an unfortunate misstep?

On September 22, Reddit user 'thealeksjay' took to the self-titled homepage of the internet to share his discovery that Tinder lists League of Legends alongside things like vegan cooking, ballet, and iced tea as an interest - but not Dota 2 - alongside the question "how are we supposed to find 'the one' here then?"

If you're a die-hard Dota 2 fan, it's a very valid question - and one the Dota 2 subreddit found quite hilarious. One user has claimed that Tinder is doing Dota 2 fans a favour by skipping the game in its interests list. Another has hilariously commented that Dota 2 players don't have time for things like relationships. When you consider the average length of a Dota 2 game, they might be onto something - they're not exactly quick.
