Today we are celebrating the first anniversary of My Lovely Daughter. It still feels surreal that we finally released the game one year ago, and have all of you playing it.

Do you still remember the feeling of unfolding a story in a fairytale, when you eagerly anticipate what will happen next when you turn the page? Toge Productions, along with developer Mojiken Studio brings you She and the Light Bearer, a game that lets you experience that whimsical feeling with just a click. The game is available NOW on Steam for PC and Mac.

She and The Light Bearer is a blend of point-and-click adventure gameplay and a music album that utilizes hand-drawn art, poetry, dialogue, and an instrumental acoustic soundtrack to offer a relaxing foray into a mystical realm of wonder. The aesthetic came under the influence of the creator herself.



Follow the journey of The Little Firefly who wanders in an unknown forest, carrying a grand task with them. As the world has lost its balance since The Mother fell into a deep slumber, our Little Firefly is entrusted to find The Mother to bring back harmony upon the land. In the unknown forest, The Little Firefly will have to solve various riddles, challenges, and puzzles to prove their worth and earn the forest’s trust. Deeper into the forest, they will learn the sacrifice of the forest, the horror of the Devourer, and the secret to awaken Mother.

Hello, our lovely friends!

Thank you for your feedback for the controller support - beta version of My Lovely Daughter. The feature is now available along with other additional small improvements on the latest version of the game (Ver. 1.06). Here’s the complete list of changes:

• Added controller support (Xinput: e.g. Xbox One or Xbox 360 joystick)
  
• Added Homunculus interactions when Faust spends time with them.
  
• Our composer has fine-tuned most of the BGM and SFX.
  
• Added new expressions to villagers.
  

We are now moving on to work on a bigger and story-filled update for the game. Here’s a small teaser for a new character that will be visiting the Salach village soon in the update.

Hello, our lovely players!

We are currently working on adding controller support for My Lovely Daughter and fine-tuning some aspects of the game. We have just opened an access to the beta build of My Lovely Daughter so that you can try out the update before we push it to the public main branch.

Current beta update:

• Added controller support (Xinput: e.g. Xbox One or Xbox 360 joystick)
  
• Our composer has fine-tuned most of the BGM and SFX
  
• Added new villagers art, their expression will respond accordingly based on request results
  

You can try out the beta build by right-clicking the My Lovely Daughter application in your Steam Library. Left-click Properties, then choose the "Betas" tab. Choose "public-beta" from the drop-down menu then close the window.

We are still working on some other new features, and will update the beta build accordingly and inform you if something new is implemented. Join further discussions of the update and the whole game in general by visiting the Steam forum or join our Discord channel.
