A Gummy's Life 0.91 - Improving the Online multiplayer.



Hello! Today we bring you another update where we improve the online multiplayer game feel and add a few more things :3

Patch notes:

  • Added Track 'n Splash and Arigatothewater to the Online multiplayer game mode.
  • New option to up/downscale the render quality, from 50% to 150%.
  • New option to control how long the juice decals last on the ground, from x0 to x3.
  • Added winner screen to the end of all the rounds.
  • Improved the network code to better manage Knock-outs and movement in moving objects.
  • A few more fixes that affected the online multiplayer game mode.

A Gummy's Life 0.9 - Now with Online multiplayer!

Hello! the time has come. Online multiplayer has arrived to A Gummy's Life.


Fellow A Gummy's Life players, we are proud to announce that Online multiplayer is here.

Many of you were asking since the early access release that we should add online multiplayer to A Gummy's Life, we wanted to do it as well but since it's a physics-based game, making it work with no problems it's hard. But it's here, it works, IT'S FUN, trust us.

Currently there's only Deathmatch mode and 8 levels. We will be adding more levels in the following weeks.

To play it you just have to press the big Online button in the main menu. We have replaced the training button, which is now available in the top right corner of the main menu.



Patch notes:

  • Added Online multiplayer.
  • Added TheRolling to the online mode.
  • Several fixes in the online mode based on the online beta feedback.
  • Added a ping restriction when connecting to Online multiplayer.
  • Added ping lock in the online mode (To prevent people with high ping to disturb other people games)
  • If a player disconnects mid-game in online multiplayer it will become an AI.
  • If the master host leaves the game, other player may become the new host (The current level will reset)
  • Upgraded the game engine version.
  • Big improvements on how the game controls are shown to the player.
  • Revised the anticipation times of several attacks, everything should be faster now.
  • Overall improvements in the controls.
  • AI now is able to grab and throw you.
  • Added hit particles to improve the hitting feeling.
  • Various AI improvements.
  • Various UI animation improvements.
  • First profile is now autoselected when selecting a character.
  • Added more robots in Robox.
  • King of Hill gummy roll can no longer appear over obstacles.
  • Robox updated. Doors will now open when there's an knock-out gummy close, and doors will now absorb you instead of making you explode (you still die :P).
  • Fixed the camera on Training sometimes flying away.
  • Various improvements in how the gummies behave when the buildings go up in Grousky.
  • Black fog bug on Arigatothewater is now fixed! yay!
    And as always more little bug fixes that may be unnoticed by you, but not to us :)
