2.2.1 Hotfix Episode 1

  • [p]Fixed people with missing VP9 video codec not having some videos play, which broke player input in Frozen Tracks campaign.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some blocks appearing invisible which would lead to really bad states in the Builder and eventual soft locks in the Frozen Tracks Campaign.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the Lynx Tracks getting into a bad state in Frozen Tracks campaign which also led to bad Builder states and progression locks in the campaign.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed cases of copying Tank Tracks together with other block types creating ghost blocks.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed cases of Tank Tracks stopping working after transforming in specific ways.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a Unity Crash that could occur when quitting to menu or desktop from a session where a lot of soft surface particles had been generated.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Water Rendering in Frozen Tracks when quality was set to low.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some issues with the new Frozen Tracks Outfits when the character is in the swimming animation.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a Modding related crash that would occur if intrusive messages had too many characters.[/p]

2.2 Update & Frozen Tracks: Out Now!

[p]The wait is finally over.[/p][p]Tank Tracks have arrived and the update is now live on all platforms. [/p][p]We have also released the Frozen Tracks expansion with Trailmakers’ first snow-map with REAL snow. [h2]EVERYTHING ELSE[/h2][p]GENERAL - Updated some character models.[/p][p]GENERAL - Soft Surfaces such as sand and mud are now deformable. Christmas Island in Danger Zone has also been updated with the Soft Snow from Frozen Tracks.[/p][p]GENERAL - Changed the first time user flow so they are no longer forced into Pioneers Tutorial. You now get a choice of Pioneers or Main Menu.[/p][p]GENERAL - Steam - Added support to use PlayStation button sprites if playing with a PlayStation controller.[/p][p]GENERAL - Added a Max Framerate option for Steam and Win GDK.[/p][p]GENERAL - Enabled the “Motion Blur” and “Underwater Warping” toggles on console platforms.[/p][p]BUILDER - Updated Decal, Paint and Configurator UI to be consistent with the rest of the Builder.[/p][p]BUILDER - Textures, Decals and Skins are now all within what we call the Paint Shop.[/p][p]BUILDER - Added a ‘Select all Blocks of Same Style' button. This allows you to quickly select all blocks that are using the same colours and textures.[/p][p]BUILDER - Added several new colours[/p][p]BUILDER - Added a new Damping Slider to Hinges, Ailerons, Servos and Pistons to allow further customisation of how structures behave. This means if you want a floppy hinge, you can lower the damping and it will flop around like before the Unity update, for example).[/p][p]BUILDER - When playing with Controller and you have a Configuration Slider selected you can now press and hold Y/Triangle to allow finer input. If playing on console you can press X/Square to pop the console virtual keyboard and manually input values.[/p][p]Changes to BOTNAK Artillery:[/p]

  • [p]Fixed a bug in Space Sector that would lock you in the Builder if you entered it in 0g without previously taking out a structure whilst in gravity.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug with BOTNAK Artillery sometimes not being rendered correctly in Pioneers.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some incorrect drag values that were set on some Wedge and Quarter Cone blocks.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the Unsaved Structure Prompt re-opening when it shouldn’t after previously being closed.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug with the Tractor Beam not correctly letting go of a held object when doing a structure repair.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug with anchor pinned structures and recall.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some known cases of Build Slot identifiers being lost.[/p]
