The second phase of the Creature Submission Event voting is now open!

Dear Explorers,

Since the second phase of the creature brainstorming contest kicked off, ideas have been pouring in like a dazzling constellation of creativity. Your passion and imagination have breathed life into this event, making it truly unforgettable. After extensive and lively discussions, five extraordinary and powerful creatures have been chosen to take the final stage. It’s your turn to decide—cast your vote for the creature that inspires you the most and give it the chance to embark on an unforgettable journey!
Ratarooille
• Basic Info: A small rodent species that roams the vast grasslands and mysterious woodland. Faced with constant food scarcity, it evolved a pouch-like organ like a kangaroo to store food. Its tiny body grants it remarkable agility, allowing it to dart through the grass to gather edible items.

• Taming Method: Craft its special bait using a cooking pot, drop the bait on the ground, and move away (or use bug repellent). The Ratarooille will approach to collect the bait. Repeat this process several times to tame it.

• Special Effects: Functions as a shoulder pet, capable of collecting loot from creatures defeated by the player, while providing a weight reduction buff.

• Combat Ability: Bite.
Elemantaridea
• Basic Info:The Elemantaridea is a collective term for four unique types of mantis shrimp. Originally fragile sea creatures, they underwent mutations after being brought to Skyward. Now, they inhabit specific environments such as glacial lakes, lava pools, oil fields, and radiation zones, with their colors and abilities differing based on their habitat. Their small size allows players to carry them on their arms, granting access to their unique powers.

• Taming Method:Feed different types of bait based on their color:
White: Meat, ice, snow, or Water Magic Stone.
Red: Meat or Fire Magic Stone.
Blue: Meat or Cobalt Crystal.
Black: Meat or oil.

• Special Effects:Each color of mantis shrimp offers a unique ability for players to utilize.

• Combat Abilities:
White: Consumes food to summon ice spikes for attacks.
Red: Burns enemies with a continuous flame.
Blue: Fires beams of light.
Black: Sprays flammable venom that ignites upon contact with fire, causing devastating burns.
Mudmorpher
• Basic Info:Resembling a walking pile of clay, this omnivorous creature can be found in areas like Glittering Ridge and swamps.

• Taming Method:Feed it chunks of meat or berries. Magic dried fruits are more effective for taming.

• Skill Effects:
Passive Skill 1 - Weight Reduction: Its flat, wide body reduces carried weight by 50%.
Passive Skill 2 - Malleable Body: Its soft body reduces physical damage taken by half.
Special Skill 1 - Conversion: Converts materials like Earth Magic stones, stone, or volcanic rock into dirt. If exposed to water, the dirt can further transform into clay.
Special Skill 2 - Road Layer: Can place dirt or clay blocks stored in its inventory to create paths over uneven terrain.
Active Skill - Extends tentacles from its clay body to attack enemies in front. It also efficiently gathers dirt, sand, and stone blocks without damaging terrain-level blocks.

• Rideable: Ridden without a saddle. However, it cannot automatically traverse terrain more than one block higher.
Artikel
• Basic Info:A mysterious hybrid creature with traits from various animals. It has a snake-like head with sharp teeth, a jaguar-like muscular body, and a crocodile-like sturdy tail surrounded by a mane that changes color based on its elemental affinity. Artikel radiates elemental energy along its back, reflecting its current element. It dwells alone in regions rich in magical minerals, often found sleeping on mineral deposits that determine its elemental properties.

• Taming Method:Sneak up while it’s asleep and feed it magical minerals. Each feeding wakes Artikel, making it highly aggressive. Flee quickly and wait for it to return to sleep before repeating the process. Feeding the right type of magical mineral increases taming efficiency.

• Special Effects:Can temporarily adopt an elemental state based on the minerals it consumes:
Fire (Red): Breathes fire, grants heat resistance, and immunity to burns.
Earth (Orange): Gains rock armor for damage reduction and increased attack power.
Wind (Green): Unleashes whirlwinds, knocking back enemies and boosting speed.
Light (White): Emits a glowing aura, frightens small creatures, and illuminates a wide area.
Lightning (Purple): Fires powerful lightning bolts, its strongest attack.
Darkness (Gray): Performs life-draining leap attacks, cloaking both itself and its rider.
Water (Blue): Sprays water jets to slow enemies, grants heat resistance, and increases swimming speed.

• Combat Ability:Has dual combat stances:
Bipedal Stance: Executes chain claw strikes that advance the creature forward.
Quadrupedal Stance: Performs a powerful forward bite attack.
Elemental Ability (Right Click): It unleashes elemental attacks based on its current elemental affinity. This ability is available in both bipedal and quadrupedal stances.
Pressing the C Key switches between bipedal and quadrupedal stances.
Pressing the X Key triggers an elemental breath roar with a corresponding color, which serves only as a decorative effect.
Herculon
• Basic Info:Originally a desert-dwelling beetle, it underwent magical mutations in the enchanted forest, growing into a massive and aggressive creature with a durable shell capable of withstanding large predators. Its formidable horns and legs make it a potent fighter.

• Taming Method:Combine resin from the Magic Forest with honey in an Industrial Cauldron to create a special bait. Use bug repellent on yourself and place the bait behind the beetle to tame it.

• Special Effects:Herculon consumes meat, spoiled meat, and berries. It can also produce a unique healing tonic that provides group buffs. The buff reduces damage taken and increases attack power, making it an excellent ally for tackling ruins.

• Combat Abilities (Press C to toggle stances) :
Stance 1: Grounded Stance: Reduces incoming damage by 50%. Attacks may trigger counterstrikes that knock enemies into the air.
Stance 2: Upright Stance: Horn attacks cause bleeding, while claw attacks knock back enemies and reduce their armor. Feeding it honey boosts its respective defense or attack power.
