The Borg (led by the new queen formerly known as Agnes Jurati) have asked to join the Federation and have also elected to guard the anomaly found by the Stargazer. But many across the galaxy are horrified the Federation would ever consider it. Among the dissenters is a species relating tales of Jurati’s Borg destroying their homeworld. Hearing of the Cerritos’ efforts, Lwaxana Troi decides to “offer” her help. The result is an attempt to speed up the second contact missions, culminating in a diplomatic dinner to be held aboard the Cerritos. But a strange phenomena working its way through the ship could spell disaster for these nascent diplomatic relations.

With this week’s server release the following changes have been made to the game:

- addition of a new tiers for the “New Life and New Civilization” collection (diplomat trait)

- addition of a new collection “Alluring Pheromones” (orion trait)

- Sikarian Vessel ability change:
‘Protection’ (boosts evasion by 2 - bonus ability: Reduce Incoming Hull Damage by 45%)
has been replaced with
‘Emergency Repairs’ (boosts evasion by 2 - bonus ability: Immediately repairs Shields by 25%)

This ship will become available to players with the Skirmish event starting this Thursday.

While the Cerritos crew is entertaining several Sikarians with stories of their (mis)adventures, one of the Sikarian ships goes missing. The ship quickly begins taking advantage of the Sikarian technology that enables them to “fold” space, but the pilot’s inexperience is having serious repercussions.
