Let’s start Players’ Month with something unusual ..: Airlock Extravaganza

We’re celebrating Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and Players’ Month with the release of Enterprise Pike.

Tomorrow, Thursday, June 2, at 1am ET (5:00 UTC), you will be able to get:
- a free copy from our giveaway pack that will be available in the Time Portal
- three additional copies by participating in our special Endurance Objective Event

Both will be available until Friday, July 1. (1am ET/5:00 UTC for the Objective Event - around noon ET (16:00 UTC) for the giveaway pack)

Stats are now in line with what we intended them to be, you will notice a boost.
The apostrophe in T’Pol was changed to be consistent with the apostrophe that is generally used in game.

Tam Elbrum and Gomtuu appear on the outskirts of the Alpha Quadrant, but something isn’t right, as Gomtuu attacks a starbase. Attempts to reach Tam or Gomtuu all fail. The living vessel must be stopped before anyone else comes to harm, but what could cause such a violent attack from such a gentle creature?

As part of our June Players’ Choice tradition, back in March you were asked to vote for the theme of this month's mega arc. The three options were:

- Facets of the Past (DS9 + Trill)
- Tin Man / Bio-Ships (TNG/VOY + Astrophysicist or Exobiologist)
- Archer Mega (ENT + Inspiring)

The winner was Tin Man/Bio-Ships, let’s explore what this mega-event will be about.

Starfleet is evaluating the use of organic ships within their ranks. However, the “Tin Man” returns, not quite the docile creature he was once known to be. This frightening encounter is only a prelude to a bigger nightmare, as a crew dispatched to study the wreckage of a Species 8472 bioship disappears and the remnants of their doomed expedition could herald disaster for the entire galaxy.

For the duration of this mega-event crew with the ‘astrophysicist’ trait will provide an event bonus for all four events, the schedule will be as follows:

2022-06-02 - Skirmish event - Blight - this event will introduce a new ship: Gomtuu!
2022-06-09 - Galaxy Event - Pruned
2022-06-16 - Faction/Galaxy Event - Apoptosis
2022-06-23 - Faction Event - Pluripotency

Our recurrent mega arc crew will be ‘Infected Tryla Scott’ (Star Trek: The Next Generation - “Conspiracy”).

Participate in all four events to obtain a copy from threshold rewards, and to encounter other new characters such as: Captain Robert DeSoto, Lt. JG Picard, Lt. Commander Spock (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds), Lt. Commander MacDougal, Ruon Tarka, Surata IV La Forge, Hollow Data, and Disorderly Icheb.

With today’s server release the following changes have been made to the game:

- Addition of a new collection, Curious Flora, for crew with the ‘botanist’ trait. This trait currently applies to 17 characters.

- Captain DeSoto: addition of the ‘resourceful’ trait, and stats improvements

- Professor Data: stats improvements

- 6 additional tiers of 5 purchasable crew slots have been added to the game, for a total of 720 crew slots available for purchase

- fixed a grammatical error in the IKS Bortas’s flavor text

- when playing on Facebook, the game will once again be part of the Facebook frame.

- Special Honor Offers: these offers will allow you to purchase Honor and a 5* citation. They will each have their own purchase limit.

- Special Packs: these packs will be purchasable with Honor, you'll be able to choose between 3 different packs to get 1x 1/5 crew among crew currently available in the regular packs from the Time Portal! Packs 2 and 3 will refresh daily at noon ET.

Pack 1:
For a price of 10,000 Honor this pack will have no purchase limit, and will grant you 1x 1/5 random crew (no behold).

Pack 2:
For a price of 10,000 Honor this pack will have a purchase limit of 1 a day, and will grant you 1x 1/5 Behold (a choice between 3 crew).

Pack 3:
For a price of 40,000 Honor pack this pack will have a purchase limit of 10 a day, and will grant you 1x 1/5 Behold + 1x 5*citation.
