Train Valley 2 News

Hello friends! I hope you are well! We have great news. We used to think that train games are keyboard and mouse only. So if you like train management games please play them at the table and even thing about couch gaming. We are here to break this stereotype and introduce you to full gamepad support for Train Valley 2. Maybe it will seem a bit strange at the beginning, but probably after 5 minutes, it will be your favorite way to play the game! What I can say for sure: it is much easier to build tracks with a gamepad! Try it out! There is no special gamepad tutorial yet, but you should easily get the idea of the control scheme from the hints.

[h3]What is added?[/h3]
- Full Gamepad support (Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, PS3, and many many others)
- Timings and challenges added to workshop levels description.

[h3]What is fixed?[/h3]
- Wrong hint for Embargo station.
- Scroll added for workshop level description in the game browser. The font size stays the same.
- Unity engine updated to the last version (more optimized and stable).

UPD: If you experience problems with the keyboard or mouse controls you can always choose "previous_stable" build in BETA section (right-click on the game in Steam library > Properties > BETA).

Hello friends! Every Friday 17:30 GMT starts “Let’s play together” challenge. We pick up a level and during 24 hours everyone is trying to get the best time on it. You just need to register once on our Discord server and keep Discord running while playing the level of the week, and your results will be automatically published in Discord #lets-play-together channel. You need to get 5 stars for beating the level.

Glittering prizes:
1) 3 winners get collectable cards - one random card per person. If you collect 18 locomotive cards, you can collect 6 new cards, and then 2 more special ones. When you collect all 26 cards, you will receive a special prize.
2) Any participant can win a card. Number or cards will depend on the number of participants: one card for every 10 participants. The more players, the more prizes! Your chances of winning remain high.
3) The winner will get a pin. Also lucky pin will be sent to one randomly chosen participant.

Hello! We are happy to finally sum up April's special level design contest. We remind you that for this contest we have added a new object to the level editor ‒ the embargo station. Due to the events of recent months, this inspired many players to create levels. During April, 77 new levels appeared in the workshop, 25 of them with the new object. We had to work hard to look at all these levels and evaluate them. We sent 29 levels to the Featured, it seems that there have never been so many in one month before. We are very happy to do it! And now we are pleased to introduce the finalists of this fantastic contest to you.

Hello friends! Due to the fact that many people are now forced to be at home in quarantine, we decided to add another one Let's Play Together in the middle of the week. This is an experimental competition. There can be different crazy levels. There will be no prizes. Perhaps this will last only for the period of forced isolation of people, but if everyone likes this LPT format, then we will extend this competition.
