Let's Play Together - Blood And Gold

Hello friends! Every Friday 17:30 UTC/GMT we hold a “Let’s play together” competition. During next 24 hours everyone is welcome to try and score the best time in a preselected level. Join our Discord server and keep Discord running while playing — your results will be automatically published in the #lets-play-together channel. You need to get 5 stars to qualify.

Glittering prizes include:
1) Top 3 winners receive one random card each. Collect 18 locomotive cards and advance to next set of 6 all new cards! Complete that second set and enter a final tier of 2 very special and super limited cards! Assemble 26 cards and receive a special prize. Easy!
2) Every player registered by our Discord bot has a chance to get a card. The number of cards depends on the number of participants: one additional card for every 10 train connoisseurs on the list. More players means more prizes!

Extra Let's Play Together - Fake Jewelry

Hello friends! Due to the fact that many people had to stay at home in isolation due to COVID-19, we decided to add another Let's Play Together competition in the middle of the week, just for fun-with different crazy levels and (alas!) no prizes. We think it is clear by now this extra LPT is a permanent addition too :)

The rules are the same: log in to our Discord server, keep it running, play a competitive level, complete it with 5 stars and have fun!

Level of the Month - May 2022

A river of lava crosses the valley from north to south dividing it into very much disconnected parts. While our safety people are busy listing all the reasons as to why building anything over deep bodies of molten rock might be dangerous, we could start by reinvigorating logistic network and connecting stone pillars with local industries conveniently occupying them. With 9 or more bridges, yes.

Next stop:

Won't be easy (or cheap)-both topography and overgrowth will hamper our progress, not to mention magic spider chocolatiers being very picky about having rail tracks next to their shop and a 22:00 timer constantly ticking while we are struggling to fund another expensive engineering wonder :) A fun and replayable puzzle with attractive layout and excellent gameplay.

Congratulations @Plastickbag, your €30 Steam gift card is on its way!

Train Valley 2 community and developers want you to bring out your level editor skills and show us train driving complexity levels we never knew even existed. Build, create, compete. Having fun is a requirement.

A DNSAT level about having fun and succeeding; an unusual combination I'm sure, and yet 8:00 timer, accessible terrain and magical backstory make for a fine exercise. Now where does one find toads in TV2?

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2817954855

A prequel to

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2809060550

as well as an answer to the "What would a @Bengotham DNUP level look like?" :)

A strange potato-shaped object is still smoking from reentry and Russets are already contracting us to establish the first set of railway tracks and help them build a research facility. Slower locomotives, some industries to erect, a suspicious purple tentacle sticking out of the water, a forgiving 18:00 timer. I am sure the artifact will be grateful for our assistance too :)

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2818575798
Our demolition crews on a leave this time-no track tiles can be removed-so we will blow things up using Steel Slabs (not sure about the specifics here, but it is most definitely doable :) Some advanced resource and component shuffling between several Disassembling Factories later we are to have at least 1 000 000 TV2$ to our name and less than 7:00 on the timer.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2818786518
Tater Town is about to become world's rocket science capital and we're here to facilitate the transition. Reconnect the islands, build around the purple guest from the deep, mind the Pass Limiter charging times and get potatoes and diamonds coming! 5 or more bridges, 170 or more track tiles, 13 minutes and a stealthy quest marker behind your locomotives list.

A train valley boasting an underwater section with separate access and Passenger Flow deliveries connecting two parts from the very start; a quite challenging 22 minutes long DNRT ride that has a little bit of, well, everything-from Disassembling Factories to Pass Limiters, Buggies, Toll Stations and flying submarines :)

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2820328539
Alien, very colourful and ours for the taking, Alien Sea is a train valley set on a very alien yet strangely welcoming planet. Full with resources to process and introduce into our production chains, pink passages and purple hills to support our railway tracks and several small settlements waiting to buy our entire stock. Our demolition crew couldn't make it, 11:00.

Nuclear kaiju monster trucks from the deep in a terrorizing seaside city scenario with high speed train deliveries and terraforming events? Destroy at least 1 100 000 TV2$ worth of stuff and blow up at least 5 trains objectives are there too :) I've already said too much, but know that King Of The Monster Trucks is a wonderful puzzle built on top of a very unusual premise using many new objects and industries, with different choices to make and enjoyment to be had. 16:30, very replayable.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2819743994
Welcome To The Machine with undetermined programming and output that apparently can be upgraded to run more efficiently. Navigate numerous moving parts and exercise caution with engine purchases and upgrades-the machine's mysterious creators/owners probably won't overlook even minor damage. 12:00, Passenger Flow mechanics and a super expensive octopus shortcut.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2818337726
An industrial complex that runs on Steel Slabs and some Power yet is able to produce almost every kind of product and resource there is... Be it alchemy, magic or alien tech, our job is rather simple-build, connect, schedule, earn 1 200 000 TV2$ in under 18:00 and do not ask questions :)

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2817635572
Terraforming events at 17:30 and 18:00, at least 3 tunnels to build, hidden hyperloop connections, Passenger Flow mechanics, a Pass Limiter station, 25 minutes on the timer and highly detailed, top notch surroundings to navigate, explore and overcome are waiting for us in New Babylon. An amalgamation of biomes, aesthetics, industry types and mechanics crafted into a wonderful train puzzle.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2819697388
Last stop of our today's wild ride is back on Earth by the looks of it-we're helping with supplying local farmers' market and a couple businesses with fresh produce. Our only real obstacle seems to be that Pass Limiter with 3 charges and long recharge times, but we'll find out in a minute that actually finding an optimal approach and designing your track system (along with that 65 000 TV2$ demolition job budget) is paramount. An expertly built level and a very well composed puzzle.

Allow us to extend our collective congratulations on winning the Level Of The Week award to @Gatebase! A €10 Steam gift card will be delivered by our contact ASAP.

A snowy valley in the middle of June, with terraforming, shortcuts appearing and disappearing, mammoths minding their business and diamond industry growing steadily-but not without our help :) 9:00, no demolition jobs available, pleasant surroundings to look at and build around.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2814804837

An island with every food industry out there and an unstoppable Chocolate factory with seemingly limitless supply. Autotrains, flying cars, colleagues from a neighbouring star system, different recipes and tons of quests to complete with just 10 minutes on the timer and a 160 track tiles limit. Colourful design with newest mechanics and decorations + familiar gameplay.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2816474068

A trademark Disassembling Factory with many vehicle producing industries and locomotives on a slower side @Thomas level. 10 minutes on the timer, no turning trains around and 3 wrong deliveries requirement. Deceptively simple, objectively fun :)

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2816920723

A DNP train driving puzzle with emphasis on no pause and train driving part :) Embargo and Toll stations to dial the difficulty to 11 and an out of our view shortcut to confuse us further, Spirited Away is an multifaceted adventure with several layers of difficulty and backstory, possibly including some Shinto-Buddhist folklore too. We get to visit the Temple of the Potato, set up Gold deliveries through the Sacred Mountains and into the Fertile Islands-in under 14:00 and without destroying a single track tile.

Sometimes things don't work out, and today we get to recoup some of our investments before starting anew somewhere else. We need to salvage everything of value and construct a colony ship while sustaining periodic meteor bombardment-every 4 minutes to be precise. Keep our engineers safe, do not build more than 2 bridges or tunnels. We have 18 minutes.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2817330328

How can the first railway line on a certain flat disc-shaped world carried by a space-faring turtle be connected to waste management? We just don't know :) We do know however that whichever edition you pick, The Great A'Tuin proves to be a fine design-both from visual and gameplay standpoints, deploying Myths And Rails mechanics and decorations to deliver a wonderful 15:00 DNUP/17:00 and no train crashing experience.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2818176603

We're given 20 seconds as the new Urban Planner to assess the situation before an endless stream of Workers autotrains commences. Reconnect the Power, explore the premises and get to work-build at least 10 bridges, deliver at least 300 trains, spend less than 28 minutes and fund every construction project there is. An exciting race against time with quite a bit of train management.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2815109217

Everything is under control, HQ-the giant skeleton found in local cyan waters is almost certainly out of commission, extensive geyser system constantly testing limits of our biodomes reliably prevents any mining efforts, harsh conditions are present around the clock, purple tinged fish fingers supply plainly refuse to end and there is a 10 minutes delay for every supply ship. Both the Hyperloop and Buggy factory are still operational and so is your starting locomotive. 10 minutes, failure is not listed as an option.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2815575827

Clever terraforming and an array of Pass Limiter stations-choose a path, eventually come to a realization that it is not the most optimal one, restart :) An original take on many paths to same set of objectives design paradigm with new station type, an intricately constructed challenge with expertly decorated and coloured terrain. 8:00 and absolutely no track demolishing + a TV2$ 1000 budget for non-track demolition jobs.

Allow us to extend our collective congratulations on winning the Level Of The Week award to @Gelledee! A €10 Steam gift card will be delivered by our contact ASAP.
