J. R. R. Tolkien mentioned a green sun in one of his monographies. But what about green water? @thomas must know something — his latest creation has quite a lot! Divided in two halves by a mountain range, it has many tracks to build and several complex production chains to attend to, at least two ways to go about crossing that mountainous obstacle and a Do Not Destroy Any Track Tiles objective.

@ishKiia submitted another entry the trains in her Color Factory saga — and an unusual one to say the least. The engineer at fault was never can still found and your new job is to save all the color samples to start a new factory somewhere safer. The get through layout is very unorthodox with layers of tracks spanning whole level, there's a restriction on track tile removal and a 10 minutes timer the black ink to keep things interesting :)

A super felicitous entry by @Polari, this level presents us with classic divided in two geography with a single access point in the middle where you are to avoid any train crashed for 24 minutes :) The execution is on point as both cunning production pyramid and mild lack of space lead to especially neat track layout and possible untimely restart.

@UnicastProduction surprises us with a level based on a local memetics phenomenon — if there is a level for Train Valley 2, there is a solution to it by @stev1eb that is going to be both vastly different and many times more efficient than yours. In a land where airplanes are used as currency and a staple resource your task is to fly low under local Customs station radars and deliver components for assembling even more red airplanes to the secret Grand Pink Canyon Airplane Factory. There is a nice pace to this level with funds being very tight and production chains being not so obvious.

A winning entry by @Inunderstandable me / @Itsumi-chan, Alpine Bridge lets us finish developing logistics network around a giant bridge somewhere in the Alps by building even more bridges - at least eight :) You have an ample amount of time to explore all the routes and route possibilities - this one is truly non-linear, almost sandbox experience with word INTRICATE not leaving your mind once for the whole duration. A pleasurable adventure in an exemplary train valley filled with treacherous hills, sneaky hyperloops. primeval forests and an occasional trainspotter bear :)

@Inunderstandable me, outstanding work! A €10 Steam gift card is heading your way right now.

Don't forget to tell us about your TV2 workshop adventures and visit our Discord server for an upcoming LPT challenge. Until next week!

Extra Let's Play Together - Visions In Blue

Hello friends! Due to the fact that many people are now forced to be at home in quarantine, we decided to add another Let's Play Together competition in the middle of the week. This is an experiment. There can be different crazy levels. There will be no prizes. Perhaps this will last only for the period of forced isolation, but if everyone likes this extra competition format we will make it permanent.

The rules are the same: log in to our Discord server, keep it running, play a competitive level, complete it with 5 stars and have fun!
Visit our Discord server (#lets-play-together channel) to learn more.

Level of the Month - April 2021

Level of the Month April 2021 edition is here, looking creative, fresh and fun to play!

"... to redesign the system for better maintainability or to produce a copy of a system without access to the design from which it was originally produced." - me on reverse engineering after good 10 minutes of googling :)

@ishKiia created a level brilliant to its core — you disassemble ready to ship cars into basic components to smuggle through a wall of Customs stations that won't let through anything complex to later reassemble said components into cars again! A complicated multistage process while in reverse (see what I did here?) proves to be even more processing power consuming :)
Why? A hostile takeover, power play among car factory owners, some questionable practices, profit to be made.
How? That is a good one :) 15 minutes, Do Not Reverse Trains and Do Not Allow Any Train To Arrive At The Wrong Station. You do have fastest engines from the start though.
Where? Quaint grasslands valley landscape with a waterway. Divided layout suggests several stages to this operation, limited space dictates any crazy track layout you can think of that helps you succeed is the way to go.

An enjoyable game all around, the comments section sums the experience up way better:
"My brain can't keep up with this level. but so fun!!" - @hika

Congratulations @ishKiia, your €30 Steam gift card is on its way!

Train Valley 2 community and developers want you, reader, to bring out your level editor and show us train driving complexity levels we never knew even existed. Build, create, compete. Having fun is a requirement.
