Dark Prospect - Playtest!

Hello everybody,

We are approaching one year of Early Access, August 11, 2021 is the date.
To celebrate this, we want to give everyone the opportunity to test Dark Prospect for free.
Therefore, the registration for a playtest starts today, which will take place in the period from August 11 to August 15.
Just press "Request Access" on the main page here and you will be unlocked on August 11th.

Update 0.8.4



Hello everybody,

Today we released version 0.8.4, it contains mainly bugfixes and some smaller improvements:

Features:
  • RTS - Orientate portals towards plasma cannon
  • RTS - Moved portals closer in Fortress map
  • FPS - Adapted FPS UI
  • FPS - Added kill stats
  • FPS - Improved nightvision
  • FPS - Added sound for aim and weapon change
  • FPS - Added Axe icon & Removed Axe ammunition
  • FPS - Added fading for FPS effects and fire dmg
  • FPS - Added cut decal for axe
Bug fixing:
  • FPS - Fixed: FPS building interaction when downed
  • FPS - Fixed: FPS can no longer sprint when downed - increased speed when downed
  • FPS - Fixed: FPS could revive others when downed
  • RTS - Fixed: Client RTS Portal unit mode was not correct
  • RTS - Fixed: Jittering and position bug for flying units
  • RTS - Fixed: Jittering for artillery projectile
  • General - Fixed: crash in Apex_Destructible_x64

Today we released version 0.8.3:

Features:
  • RTS - Added slime spitting for Fat unit
  • RTS - Improved clickability of buildings and FPS characters
  • RTS - Made RTS Camera speed configurable
  • FPS - Reduced bullet drop for auto turrets
  • General - Made Units burnable - Firedamage decides if units catch fire
  • General - Adapted radio attenuation
  • General - Added crash reporter and debug symbols
  • General - Added damage decals for rts units
  • General - Made tooltips configurable
Bug fixing:
  • FPS - Fixed FPS bots could not walk through open doors
  • FPS - Crosshair no longer scales with FOV
  • General - Fixed slug projectile duplicates on client
  • General - Deactivated physic interaction for units and FPS
  • General - Added decal projection to fix decal stretching

Update 0.8.1 - New map



Hello everybody,

Today we released version 0.8.1 with a new map, showing the dynamic day/night cycles:

  • New map: Fortress with dynamic day/night cycle
  • Adapted RTS and FPS logic to hande dynamic day/night cycles
  • Many graphic improvements for foliage and models
  • RTS - can set multiple waypoints directly from the portal
  • RTS - added flying units (ALPHA)
  • RTSAI - LOD system for RTS AI-logic to improve performance
