It might be already a week since the “2024 Total Solar Eclipse” but we hope you didn’t throw your glasses into the bin yet, because it’s time to reveal this week’s ✨shiny✨ new features of the upcoming beta! In case you missed the news, we are on the road to Tube Tycoon 2 [Beta 1] and each week we reveal new or redesigned features of the upcoming release!



[h2]Ever felt like the games on TubeStim are boring? Time to say goodbye to that! :TealFire:[/h2]
TubeStim has been a part of Tube Tycoon from the very beginning.. after all you can’t record games if you don’t own them, so it deserved some change!

• Fresh design with distinctive colors and icons for each game. Be sure to check out their new descriptions!
  
• Even more games to record!
• Games will now require additional "skill points" to be recorded. You gain skill by recording other games!

[h2]And as for recording games...[/h2]
You’ve got so many of them but only 3 slots to record…well check this out! Now recording games lives inside the new "Record" tab!

• You can buy multiple games without the need of assigning a recording slot to them! Talk about a change!
  
• Each purchased (and not recorded game) awaits for it's start of a series
  
• You can record up to 4 games at once!
  
• Once you complete the game series, you will have an option to record a game review video

[h2]Redesign of the most crucial part in the game - the Record Page! 🎉[/h2]
Until now, you had to switch between vlogs section and games section (not to mention confusing tabs and special features like DigCraft or TubeStim 😵‍💫)

Now everything will be conveniently at the tip of your hand!

• List of all video types you can record in one place
  
• A special recent tab that will list out the videos/series you recently recorded
  

And to nicely wrap it up, there’s going to be added a feature of recording special one-time videos such as a celebration of your first 100 subscribers! What’s a better excuse to pop a champagne? 🍾

After recording a video (especially a milestone special) it’s mandatory to make it catch an eye, right? It would be a shame for all your hard work to be seen by just 7 people (and one of these are your parents) so it’s about time to make your videos more ✨unique✨. Now every video will have an exclusive thumbnail!

• Fully-featured thumbnail generator
  
• Ability to change the thumbnails - don’t like the one you see? Simply randomize a new one!
  
• Over the course of the game you will unlock more appealing thumbnail designs

So far you had one and only goal in Tube Tycoon - to become the no. 1 channel in the world. Well… that could prove to be tiring and thus not everyone was always able to accomplish this colossal challenge.

Now from the very beginning you will have a full load of small challenges to complete. Meet a new mechanic (that will replace milestones) → 🎉 Tasks 🎉



Think of them as side quests in your favorite RPG game - what do these quests have that everyone loves? Rewards! But these are a mystery in this case 🤫 Complete the tasks to receive varying rewards!

[h2]Talking about the story…[/h2]
…I am happy to confirm that Tube Tycoon v2 will now have a FULL STORY LINE! Throughout your gameplay you will meet new characters, unlock new video types to record and most importantly learn more about the behind-the-scenes of TubeVideo platform!

As it is going to be a beta release - which means voluntary participation - it's good to recap on how you can play once it comes out :smile:
1. Navigate to your Steam library
2. Right-click on Tube Tycoon
3. Click on "Properties", then "Betas"
4. Once the Beta 1 launches, you will be able to select it from the dropdown menu and start downloading! :TTPROFESSOR:
