Truthfully, we were sitting on a story idea that was too hot to let go, and we’re glad our community willed this one into existence. It's the perfect reason to throw one last rager.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Get ready for Nocturnal Temptations. Since it's HP's last ride, we thought we'd get weird with it. This is a full-blown time travel story. You're going back in time to an all-new 1950s environment. You'll find yourself on a cursed film set in the woods, where you’ll deal with weirdo cults, make a grindhouse movie, and maybe stop someone from getting with their grandmother.[/p][p][/p][p]This DLC is THICC, ambitious, and one of our craziest projects yet. Don't say we're not merciful degenerates. This one's for you.[/p][p][/p][p]WISHLIST NOCTURNAL TEMPTATIONS![/p][hr][/hr][h3][/h3][h2]Hints of What's to Come...[/h2][p][/p][p]Don't get it twisted -- OFFICE PARTY development is still going strong. Really strong. Our patrons will get a tech demo near the year’s end, with a more public demo following after. We don’t wanna toot our own horn, but this sequel is turning into something really special. And yes, there’s still a button to take your pants off. [/p][p][/p][p]In the meantime, the Nocturnal Temptations DLC builds upon the lore of Patrick's mysterious company, Donghauser Unlimited -- the setting of our upcoming sequel. [p]House Party Patch 1.4.2.13206 is here! [/p][p]
We know you're chomping at the bit for more Office Party info! It's coming soon! In the meantime, this is a small House Party update... This update consists of some improvements and bug fixes.[/p][h3]
Rate Designs More Easily[/h3][p]
Probably the coolest part of this update is the new ability to rate and report designs directly from the customizer page. You no longer have to browse designs and search for the downloaded design in question again, in order to be able to rate or report it!

[/p][h3]External Browser Login[/h3][p]
There's now an external browser login option for the custom stories browser and design sharing tools. This may not be an upgrade for everyone, but players using Crossover to play House Party on a Mac can't use the embedded login. We're hoping this might help them!

[/p][h3]Story Updates Now Come with Game Patches[/h3][p]
Another notable change is that stories are no longer downloaded from the Eek server on game start. They will be updated through small patches now. This is also not a huge change, but not having to download on every game start will help (technically all players, but especially) players with slower internet connections get back in the game quicker!

[p]Fair to say it’s been a BUSY couple of weeks around the Eek! office (our luxurious encampment under the freeway). And yes, there’s one BIG piece of news you might’ve already heard… but we’ll save that for last. We're big fans of edging.[/p][p]Over the last few months, HOUSE PARTY has had many quality-of-life upgrades, especially for all you customization fiends.[/p][p]With 1.4.2.13192, we overhauled the hell out of our backend processes. In game, you'll notice some quality of life improvements for the custom story and design browsing tools -- a new login screen, a progress bar, and faster browsing. [/p][p]This change is also paired with a migration of our websites, to ensure a better flowing and efficient experience across all sites. We'll have more detailed documentation on this soon, but just know your my.eekgames.com will be the new place to manage your Eek! Account.[/p][p]

This update isn't huge, but we've still got something we think you'll enjoy! The base game now includes pasties for all customizable characters! We would put a screenshot here, but it might be too NSFW. So check them out in game asap!

[h3]A Few Bug Fixes[/h3]

We improved customizer compatibility for ultrawide and other aspect ratios. We fixed some clothing issues like clogs hiding socks, and a few other small bugs. You can see them all in the full release notes.
