Patch 1.1.5 is out! Level Design changes!



This includes everything on the 1.1.4 patch, like the rotating map, of course.


LEVELS AND DESIGN:

- Screen Shake added when Dandara takes damage.
- Better Dreamworlds overall. Better separation of battles, smoother difficulty curve in the Fake Village, less leaps of faith.
- Subtle changes in Dream Worlds make it clearer how to "solve" the vortex puzzle.
- Changed enemy positioning and room layouts from the Fortress to achieve clearer challenges and smoother difficulty.
- Scythe Soldiers and Golden Sorcerers now are more aggressive, and can dodge a continuous bursts of attacks (like a bunch of missiles!). A player cannot ignore them as easily as before and is more encouraged to engage in battle with them.
- Wall Siblings are way more happier to see you than before >:D. (Audio changes)
- Basher and Bubble Basher now are hostile if attacked from afar.
- Breach in the Wall room is now inaccessible initially after crossing the Colossal Bridge to avoid needless frustration.
- Minor level design changes in the Desert and Capital.

FEATURES:

High damage attacks on Dandara now screen shake.


BUG FIXES:

- Wall Siblings do not die mysteriously some time after attacked by an Anxiety Shock and going to the sides.
- Basher and Bubble basher weird animation bug fixed.
- Damage bug that can kill Dandara in rare situations after walking through doors is now fixed.
- Sound fixes around the Salt.

Patch 1.1.4 is live!



Check out the change log:

Added Features:
  • Added an “Align with Camera” button! Now the map can be rotated in the map screen so the camera's north is also the map's north. So no back and forth between doors to see where you are going anymore.
  • More details added on the map, to have less useless backtracking in the experience.
  • Added smarter helpers to jump aim: the game will “know” that you want to go to another platform a little bit better now, even after you’re already locked to another platform.
  • The Location of Dandara’s active spirit is now disclosed in the map.
  • On touch mode, you can now change jump/attack swipe sides.
  • On touch mode, you no longer break the aim so easily by going offshoot to the ground, making for example circular platforms more comfortable.
  • You can now turn off Vibration.


Level Design:
  • Triangle shots from Angular Soldiers now deal 2 damage (was 3 damage).
  • Lotus Projectiles now deal 1 damage (was 2 damage).
  • Skull Trap Projectiles now deal 2 damage (was 3 damage).
  • Eldar shots got buffed (1 damage to 2 damage).
  • Salt ghosts now recover 100% of your health on contact, including your own.
  • Special Weapons are no longer “super effective” on Bull Soldiers.
  • Desert of Remembrance’ s Army room can no longer soft lock players.
  • Slightly added/remove white patches throughout the game!


Bug Fixes:
  • Completionist achievement now working.
  • Dandara’s Salt Spirits no longer get stuck in geometry.
  • Fixed bug where you can get soft locked after getting killed by Eldar no longer happens.
  • Fixed bug where you could kill the first form of Eldar if you shot a Skull Shaft that pointed in the same direction as his movement.
  • Eldar’s corners are no longer weak points.

Patch 1.1.1 now out! Save issues should be fixed



Some dang bees got into the engine and messed up a few things but they should be fixed now with the new patch! Send hugs to the team as they were up to the early morning hours getting this patch out as soon as possible!

PATCH NOTES:
  • Re-added launcher so you can select your screen resolution size
  • Fixed an save issue with cloud saves
  • Fixed an issue where achievements weren't being properly unlocked
  • Added version number to main menu

Please let us know if things are working properly again or not. If your game doesn't auto-update just restart Steam.

Once we're sure the super important parts of your experience are solid we'll look into addressing some of the other requests that have been made on the forums.
