An event created for our amazing community, as well as everyone who'd like to hop into the world of flipping! A time just before Christmas, dedicated to all the House Flipper franchise fans from around the world.
The greatest time to stay tuned and look for sneak peeks, spoilers and surprises straight from the developers!

So to start off, today we are hosting a Pre-Xmas Developer Stream, talking about all the Christmas goodies we have for you this year... and there's a ton of those!

I know it's been a while since our development update, but we're back! Last time you've seen a lot of new features and, most importantly, our new trailer. By any chance, If you haven't seen it yet, you can watch it HERE ⬅️

However, first things first. We'd love to thank you for your comments under the last devlog. They're much appreciated, and we're constantly checking and analyzing them. We'd love to hear more from you again, so the comment section is yours.

Guys, we can't hide it anymore. There's a job to be done! Get ready for work with the new house we've prepared for you. Clinch the deal and help us complete the renovation. I can't say more, but a little bird told me that a forest ranger is involved.



[h2]Environment[/h2]

Let me share some arcane behind-the-scenes knowledge with you now. One does not simply walk into our enviro. That's why I've smuggled out the top-secret footage of a dev hiking through it. It's a once-in-a-lifetime chance for you to see how beautiful it is out there. Join me on this little journey. Enjoy the view, and let us know how you like it.



[h2]Mechanics&Tools[/h2]

I hope you're not afraid of heights because we're working on something that can change your point of view. In our minds, there was one idea: we can't wait to see how creative you get with this tool! Ladies and gents, we'd love to present a flying drone with photo-shooting ability! Harvest your creativity, and use it to take some pictures.



After you end your creative photography, you can place the fruit of your labor wherever you want! You'll find it in your gallery.



Okay, folks. It is a little unexpected, but we've come up with an idea you might like to see. We still consider if we want to implement it into the game, but before that, we've wanted to know your opinion. I've seen a lot of comments that ladders are too clunky, slow, and simply do not give the hard-working flipper a good time. In a stroke of genius the idea for a grappling hook came at us with its fast-as-light awesomeness! If we add it to the game, you'll be able to move freely like never before.



On your farm, you will have cows, chickens, and even pigs! That's right, we're bringing you all these classic farm animals, like Old McDonald once said: Ee i ee i o.
As a good farmer, you'll need to take care of your animals. That's why we thought it would be awesome if you could make them happy. Just take a look at that piggy, Oink! 🤩



[h2]Items[/h2]

Let the Flippers flip the floors. Let the Flippers flip the walls.
They connect at a 90-degree angle. One does not function without the other. Floors and walls are friends forever. That's why we've prepared numerous variations of them for those who want to change their houses from top to bottom. Keep in mind that it's just a tiny taste of things to come!



Ahhh, this development update is slowly coming to an end. Last but not least, we'd love to share one extra thing. Long awaited gradient set is coming! For all those who love to paint, we've got a sneak peek at our beautiful new paints. My favorite is blue, or maybe green. I don't know. It's difficult to pick favorites from amongst your own children! Can you choose your fav? Remember that it's not the whole set; there is more to come!

We’re thrilled to announce that our first ever House Flipper Day is happening on 15th of December! It’s going to be a regular thing, happening once a year, so make sure you remember that around that time next year!



We have some surprises for you - We don’t want to spoil them just yet, so let me start by announcing our special developer stream - we’ll be playing the upcoming Xmas Update, as well as discussing some new games from Frozen Way. And for those of you who will stay until the very end, we might shed some light on a BIG SURPRISE happening later this month. You guys have been asking for it for quite some time now, so I bet you’ll like it - trust me, it’s going to be nearly as big as the DLC launch.

As every year, Autumn once again fades in like a softly sung hymn. This cozy period between the spooky season and Christmas time brings not only some fancy discounts but also the chance to nominate your favorite games in this year's Steam Awards event!



Another year of House Flipper development is slowly passing by, and with the recent announcement of House Flipper 2, we feel like there's an exciting future ahead of us. Over the last few years, with our players' help, we managed to gather an amazingly creative and supportive community around us, and we're ready for whatever the future brings.

With you guys, we realize that creating the House Flipper franchise is not only a job but also a journey filled with passion, in which we're all Flippers! Thank you for sticking with us!

The voting has just started, and same as last year, we're eligible for the Labour of Love category.

Hey Flippers!
It's the spOoOoky season again, and as always, we couldn't just skip our annual update this year! 🎃



For us, this time is about celebrating the Day of the Dead, and Dia de los Muertos is one of the most important festivals in Mexican culture.
Our team isn't Mexican, and so as outsiders, when we started working on this update, we've only seen it as a beautiful and unique way of paying respects to the dead. And sure, that's correct, but there's so much more to it! We're all happy to say that by creating this content, our team got to better understand the meaning behind the Mexican Day of the Dead. We encourage you to read about it as well - you won't regret it!

Also, for those of you, who're after even more spookiness, we've added an additional house this year, with a bit different, more of a gaming inspiration... get in the game and guess what this inspiration is! 👻


And here are a couple of changes you can expect to see in the game today:

• A new Dia de Los Muertos-themed job.
  
• A new, totally normal house. We promise you a pleasant flipping experience.
  
• New seasonal items, including Dia de Los Muertos figurines, cat o'lanterns, rugs, and leaves.
  
• A new Bessie plushie. 👀
  
• If anyone is offering you balloons from under your mat, please ignore them.
