April Fool's Day mostly exists to demonstrate that marketing people are not funny, but I do like when developers follow through and actually make daft jokes reality. Case in point: renovate 'em up House Flipper has added two apartments from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. for you to fix up. You can refresh the 90s vibes of Rachel & Monica's flat, and make Chandler & Joey's flat at least somewhat resemble a place fit for human habitation. I approve of this April Foolishness.

April Fools' Day came early this year - it's still the 31st of March where we live, but you can already download our newest update, duh!



Imagine you're one of the B.U.D.D.I.E.S living in New York with a bunch of the craziest people on this Earth. Strangely enough, someone is literally recording your life on camera, you're going viral all around the world, and people are obsessing over some weird gadgets with your face on them. Finally, it's the 1st of April, and it looks like your apartment appears in the BEST GAME about RENOVATING HOUSES. Geez, what a life!

Do you remember Turtle House from last year? This time, we're releasing not one but TWO BRAND-NEW APARTMENTS!

• Two new, quite friendly houses to flip!
  
• A new TV with hanging and standing mounting.

• A lot of vinyls with timeless classics, like "Flip Me Baby One More Time", "Main Menu Theme" and "Hammer Time".

• A few designer helmets that can also be used as saucepans.

• False advertising removed - the DLC filter will hide categories if there are no relevant items in them.
  
• (Luxury DLC) The Fazzo Chair renovation process was simplified (Forgotten Heritage job).
  

[h2]Fixes:[/h2]

• The poinsettia will now be considered a valid choice in the "Christmas cleaning" job.
  
• Buyers won't dislike things they like anymore unless they don't like them.
  
• (Apocalypse DLC) Apocalypse buyers will share more information about their preferences, like plants or zombies.
  
• (Garden DLC) The pool shouldn't get scared and hide inside the house in "Job: Lawn and pool" anymore.
  
• (Luxury DLC) We've fixed the ocean evaporation speed in "Historic House".
  

As for the Steam Cloud issue - we've been a little bit inactive here for the last couple of days as we're just simply trying to figure out what goes wrong for those of you still experiencing Steam Cloud issues. We've been trying a handful of actions looking for a solution, but after going through our whole Steam Cloud configuration for House Flipper, it seems that everything should be working as intended.
That is why yesterday we decided to contact Steam staff for further research on the problem, and at the moment, we're waiting for their answer.

I will keep you informed when we manage to find any clues that may lead us to the source of this issue.

Hey Flippers!

After dozens of sleepless nights and hours of planning a strategy, I can finally share the news with you!
All the rumors are true - WE ARE WORKING ON HOUSE FLIPPER 2.
It's going to be better, smoother, and more engaging than its predecessor - it already is! I'm not going to tell you about all the cool stuff just yet, but I'm counting on you, people - I'm nearly sure you'll love it just as much as we do right now, even though it's still in the making.

With House Flipper marking almost four years of active development, gathering more than 3 million players from all around the world, and being released on all the major platforms, we're finally ready to share the big news with you.


We've released House Flipper a while ago, and we're still trying to process that it's been nearly four years since we've created this community. Game developing is a difficult job to do - we spend hours and hours creating the product in hopes that you guys will like it - and you always do. The amount of support we receive is hard to comprehend, which is why we decided to transform House Flipper into our own franchise.
We're still going to develop and support House Flipper 1, so you can expect upcoming DLCs and content updates; however, we've learned a lot since the beginning of our flipping adventure, and we want to use this experience to make something even better.

Speaking of upcoming DLCs, we're finally getting more information about the launch date of Pets DLC, along with some extra sneak peeks from the developers.

As you can see we're doing our best to make Pets DLC meaningful not only for the fans craving animals in the game but also for those flippers who are much more interested in the core House Flipper gameplay.

As the last Pets DLC devlog came out some time ago already, here are some fresh chunks of exciting news. This time we're showcasing a couple of more exotic animals that are also going to appear in the DLC. Iguanas, snakes, and spiders might be scary for some, but for others, those are the most exciting species to keep as a pet!
Please note that during completing the Pets DLC jobs, you will not face any of those "spookier" animals, but you will be able to adopt them if you wish to do so.
