Portal: Revolution is a huge, eight-hour mod that bridges the gap between Portal 1 and 2

Portal: Revolution is an eight hour fan-made Portal 2 prequel, with 40 new test chambers, voiced characters and new puzzle mechanics. It looks seriously impressive and it's out now, with a trailer below.

Saturday, January 6 Portal 2 Revolution is now available as a free download for Portal 2 as a mod.

Portal 2, the top-rated game on Steam since launch in 2011, has seen its fan-made eight-hour prequel campaign delayed as Valve is still reviewing and accepting the mod. Portal 2 Revolution has the potential to be one of the best community mods ever made, but it looks like we're going to be waiting just a touch longer to play it.

- Fixed several remote code execution and crash exploits against co-op partners. All reported via HackerOne.
- Fixed a regression in targeting some entities with the ping tool.

Well this is exciting! Modders sure do some amazing stuff with Valve games. Portal: Revolution releasing 5th January, 2024 is a new story with original characters, acting as a full gameplay prequel to Portal 2.
