We’re super excited to announce that Pizza, a new expansion for Cooking Simulator, will be
available next Thursday, November 12!🍕 In this post we’d like to tell you a little bit about the awesome new features introduced with the expansion.
New ingredients🌿
Obviously the core of Pizza is, well… making pizza. In order to give you some creative freedom, we’ve introduced over 130 realistic fresh ingredients. The list includes everything you might need for making delicious pizza. Different types of flour, meat, cheese, spices and herbs, liquids, fruit and vegetables, you name it!
The list includes:
- 26 types of meat
- 13 kinds of cheese
- 36 fruits and vegetables (including pineapples!)🍍
- 22 liquids
- 26 herbs and spices
- 4 types of flour
- 10 additional ingredients, including chocolate, walnuts, yeast and more
PizzaEach pizza consists of several components. The basis is the dough. You can choose between 4 predefined types of dough you can make (
Neapolitan, New York, Spelt Flour, Sourdough) and custom doughs made by trying out your own combinations of ingredients and proportions! Each pie is round and comes in 1 of 3 sizes:
large, medium or small. Every pizza needs some good sauce! There are
10 sauce recipes but just like with the doughs, there’s nothing there to stop you from coming up with your own tasty propositions. The next component is cheese. You can combine multiple types of cheese either grated or sliced. For the final touch you can use various types of toppings and herbs just to give your pizza that final touch!
Customer orders📝
You can receive various orders for Pizza. There are
80 predefined orders with some variations, based on some of the most common pizza recipes, such as Margharita, Capricciosa, Quattro Fromaggi and so on! On top of that you can receive custom orders which require a randomly generated combination of components. Each pizza receives a rating based on the correct preparation of requested components:
Dough (size, kind, correct baking),
Sauce (kind, spread),
Cheese (kind, spread, correct baking),
Toppings (right kind, quantity, spread). If you’re playing Career mode, that game will also take into account the preparation time. Sandbox mode doesn’t include the preparation time in overall rating.
Italian Pizzeria👨🍳
Move to a brand-new, cozy Italian pizzeria consisting of
3 new working areas: a fully-stocked pantry, a prep kitchen, and an oven area. The new location looks stylish and has all the utensils and workspace you’ll need to master the art of crafting top-quality, authentic pizza!
The pantry located in the pizzeria’s basement is where you’ll find all the variety of ingredients. To expedite the collecting we’ve added large baskets for carrying multiple products.
In the prep room you’ll find all the machines needed for making the dough, preparing sauces, cutting and grating ingredients. After all the ingredients are ready, you can quickly move them to the final room using a special sliding shelf!
The last area contains a pizza assembling space and a huge wood-burning oven. Here you’ll roll the pizza pies, apply sauces, cheese and other ingredients and bake the pizzas. Once they’re ready, you can send them to your hungry customers.
Smartphone📱
Since you liked the smartphone from Cakes and Cookies, we’ve decided to keep it in Pizza with some improvements. The smartphone will have 4 useful awesome-looking apps. Bella Pizza for browsing and managing customer orders, Questvilla used in Career mode for browsing quests, leveling up, progressing and unlocking new rewards, PerkHUB for using various perks and Pizza Pro containing all the important recipes. Unlike Cakes and Cookies, there will be no app for purchasing products as all of that will be done in the pantry.
Career Mode🏆
In Career Mode you’ll be playing as a top apprentice taking over a well established italian pizzeria previously run by Papa Pepe. Papa Pepe is an old and experienced pizzaiolo who will be your guide and mentor. Make sure to turn on the tutorial on your first playthrough to get an introduction with a detailed explanation and various tips on how to run your pizzeria, prepare ingredients, heat the oven, make pizzas, manage orders, level up and unlock new products and recipes. Each day consists of two phases. Phase 1 starts at the beginning of each day and for its first 30 minutes you’ll be able to receive and accept pizza orders. Phase 1 lasts until you serve your last pizza, so you’ll always be able to complete all the orders you’ve accepted! Phase 2 starts after you complete your last order for that day and lasts for as long as you want to. During that time you can clean up your pizzeria, prepare more dough, sauces, ingredients and so on. Make sure to frequently check on the Questvilla app to complete various quests divided into 3 categories focused on either the quantity, quality or realisation time of your orders. Completing each category will result in unlocking the most powerful perks. Additionally, completing quests will allow you to unlock new recipes and ingredients to become an even better pizzaiolo!
Sandbox Mode⛱️
Sandbox mode is the relaxed, chilled out experience you all know so well from the base game. Get instant access to all the ingredients, perks and recipes and do whatever you want with the unlimited resources!
