Quantum League Abilities For All Matches Update!

We're calling all Quantum Athletes, time for another update!

Abilities in all matches
As of today the Athlete passives will roll out to all Casual and Ranked games and are no longer exclusive to custom games!

They have been already adjusted based on your feedback, but we'll continue to monitor them, so keep the feedback coming!

Passive Adjustments

Bjarne
  • Fixed some cases where Bjarne’s ability wasn't resetting visibility after overtime.
  • Removed clone info overhead from clones seen through walls with Bjarne’s ability.
Jackie
  • Jackie’s increased speed now affects all movement.
Weapon Adjustments

Laser
  • Fixed visual issues with the laser muzzleflash.

Quantum League Road To Launch Update!

The road to launch has been officially started, Quantum Athletes!
We’ve got cool new things in store for you to kick off this new release cycle.

We’ve also worked on new features and multiple fixes to improve your experience in the arena:

Quark bundles
Now you can buy quark bundles and get your favorite athlete outfits and weapon skins right away!

Abilitiy updates! Jackie: DESYNCED SPEEDER
Movement speed is increased while desynced

Violet: ARSENAL
Replace your blaster for a primary weapon during the loop

Weapon balance tweaks
  • Rifle: Increased muzzle speed
  • Grenade Launcher: Decreased reload time, increased damage curve.
Fixes/Improvements
  • Fixed multiple visibility issues with Bjarne’s ability
  • Playbook timelines are now cleared correctly after overtime
  • In-game ammo displays now work for spectator
  • Fixed sensitivity slider allowing setting 0 as a value
  • Fixed an issue where the loop could play slowly after overtime
  • Playbook now isn’t affected by the weapon’s current FOV
  • Shooting range targets are now disabled the first time until the challenge starts
  • Fixed party leader icon not appearing correctly
  • Removed objective and added point capture UI in Time Loop Drill
  • Headshot announcer feedback can now only be heard by the player that hit the headshot
  • Obscured vision around the Riflescope to allow for better shots
  • Tweaked loading screen visually and added queue info (e.g. Ranked 1 vs 1)
  • Fixed that changing effects options in-game didn’t work
  • Desync/Resync UI elements are now present in Time Loop Drill

Nordic - This map will be available upon launch both for 1v1 and 2v2 matches of Point Capture. It brings a cool snowy environment and has different levels to it created to incentivize strategic plays. 

ADS
Apart from the Rifle Scope, we added true ADS for the Blaster, SMG, Shotgun, and the Laser. Now, weapons transition between hip fire and ADS, allowing for a better and more complete first-person shooting experience!


Abilities
Each athlete has been equipped with an ability that gives them more personality and making each match more unique. Your playstyle, the arena and game mode, your teammate picks, everything has to be taken into account when choosing your athlete before a match!


That’s not all!
Now you can Buy Quark Bundles and get your favorite athlete outfits and weapon skins right away! There will be an amazing new reward track coming to the game upon launch and a bigger selection in the store so we got you a Quark Code as a part of the celebration and to get you started.
Type LAUNCH in the game menu to get 6000 Quarks.

Introducing Steam Trading Cards!

Quantum League keeps getting better and better.
As of today just by playing the game you can earn Steam Trading Cards!

Gather and trade to get your favorite character, or become a collector and try to get them all. The cards are in your hands.

If you manage to get the entire set of cards you’ll not only get a sweet badge for your profile and level up, but you will also unlock emotes and time-traveltastic profile wallpapers.

There will be more updates coming to Quantum League very soon, so keep an eye out to prevent your clone from having to go back in time to catch them live!

Quantum League Abilities Patch!

We’re calling all Quantum Athletes, ‘cause it’s time to play with all-new abilities!

Each athlete has been equipped with a passive ability giving them more personality and making each match more unique. Your playstyle, the arena and game mode, your teammate picks, everything has to be taken in account when choosing your athlete before a match!

Abilities can be switched on only in Custom Match, we want to test the feature and receive feedback from the community before enabling them in casual and ranked matches so feel free to join our discord if you still haven’t.

We’ve also worked on new features and multiple fixes to improve your experience in the arena!

Carnival event is on
Let’s party! The Carnival Outfits are available for a limited time so go get them!

Abilities
    Justin: Prefire Booster
    Your clones inflict increased weapon damage to opponents in future timelines.

    Toure: Kinetic Shield
    Accumulate a damage reduction shield while moving at sprinting speed.

    Violet: Arsenal
    Swap between all primary weapons during the loop.

    Bjarne: Clone Tracker
    Opponents with low health can be seen through solid objects.

    Jackie: Aerial Impulse
    Jump in mid-air to perform an additional vertical impulse.

    Levka: Ghost Vision
    Briefly spot opponents right after they are desynced and while desync-firing.


Athlete Selection
Now that athletes have different abilities, we figured everyone should be able to pick their character according to Game Mode and arena!

You can now choose your character in-game, right before the match starts, and check which athlete your 2v2 teammate is choosing. Your default selected athlete will be the one you chose in the Athletes screen.

Tutorial
  • We’ve made some changes to the tutorial for a faster and smoother experience.
  • FPS training tutorial has been disabled.
  • Added pop-up showing rewards for completing each step.
  • Ranked overtime tutorial is now mandatory before playing a ranked match.

Fixes/Improvements
  • Reduced laser warmup time.
  • Melee attacks now won’t trigger barrels from behind obstacles.
  • Ragdolls will now collide properly in Container Yard
  • Healthpack VFX now won’t disable other visual effects while overlapping.
