Beta 13.5 - Camera Rotation Adjustment

Today's build includes an update to the pivot point for rotating the camera up and down. I think this feels a lot better than the previous set up and would like to hear what you think too!

This update also includes some other fixes:
  • Adjusted the female character model as her feet were floating just a bit off the ground.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the pickaxe to fail to appear when mining some ore types.
  • Added better collision to some more cave and mine maps - almost done with this!
  • You can now "trash" items in your inventory using the X button. This will create a pop-up asking if you are sure.

Beta 13.4 - French and Korean

Today's update adds two more languages to HammerHelm - French and Korean! This brings the total languages to seven, with four more on the way!





This build also includes some fixes:
  • Fixed a bug that caused the cycle monsters key to fail to switch monster targets.
  • Updated a text box size in the build mode instructions UI.
  • Fixed a localization bug that caused job names to be incorrect in the town manager UI.
  • Fixed an error in the calculations regarding holding left-shift and clicking Craft when making potions.
  • Updated the lighting in dungeons to make them a bit brighter.

Beta 13.3 - New Achievement Icons

Tonight's update includes all of the new achievement icons! I'm really happy with how these turned out and I hope you like them as much as I do.



The icons on the Steam page have also been updated.

This build also updates the text for the "Level Up" and "Quest Complete" animations for Polish and Portuguese. This are created differently than the rest of the localization and I neglected to update their text in last week's update.

Beta 13.2 - Fixes and Improvements

Tonight's build includes some additional improvements to the controller mapping system as well as some other fixes.
  • The controller mapper is now set up to be localized. Note I have placeholder translations in these for now, actual translations will follow.
  • When changing a button map, the UI now updates to reflect the change. Note the controller maps do not update. These are meant to show the default settings.
  • Added a slider so you can select whether you see Xbox, PS4, or Switch controller icons.
  • Switched the default button for closing UI and opening the pause menu to the right button (Start on Xbox controllers) rather than the left.
  • You will no longer jump when picking up a piece of furniture.
  • Increased the size of the table puzzle hint in the Scarecrow mansion.
  • Updated the text in the roof color UI to make it clear that pressing the button will change the roof color of all buildings, except houses.
  • Updated the collision in some of the caves to keep the camera from going through the walls. I'm doing this for all of the cave maps and still have a few more to update.
  • Updated the falling leaves so they don't look like they are glowing at night.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the player lantern to fail to produce light when loading a save at night.

I'm also working on getting all of the new Steam icons in the game and here on Steam along with more improvements.

Beta 13.1 - Portuguese and Polish

A quick update to add two more languages, Portuguese and Polish!





More languages will be added next week!

This build also includes a quick update to the Fishing Pier to make it's footprint easier to see when placing or moving it.
