Bangboo Buddies Special Event

Bangboo Buddies is a collaboration between Stream Avatars and HoYoverse’s latest game, Zenless Zone Zero. When you switch to this mode, it will lock in specific settings and unlock a brand new type of boss fighting minigame. A key focus was to simplify the settings and have your viewers type !bangboo which will enable the viewer to join as an avatar and also unlock a random Bangboo (10 are unlockable through this command). Also, don't worry about your normal settings with Stream Avatars... they will be safe and untouched when you switch into Bangboo Buddies mode.

The 11th Bangboo is only unlockable by defeating the new boss. In this minigame your viewers will be able to complete a puzzle sequence as quickly as possible in the Bangboo Buddies extension to deal damage towards the boss. The faster your viewers are at solving puzzles, the more damage they will do. Upon killing the boss, there is a random chance for your viewers to unlock a special Golden Bangboo.

This is great news for Stream Avatars! It helps us work on cool features that can be included into Stream Avatars for everyone to enjoy after the event is over. -Added Lua Scripting > new event: 'selectInitialAvatar' which is created to allow a script to handle which avatar a viewer will spawn in with by using the gift command.
-Added General > Avatar Settings > Force one free avatar (this is to allow restricting all avatars in shop editing and using the new lua event to gift one during avatar creation)

Attention Streamlabs Desktop Users

Streamlabs has recently released an update for their version of OBS (Streamlabs Desktop) and it seems to have broken game captures for many users. They have announced that they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix since November 17th, 2023.

What can be done while waiting for them to fix it?

One user has reported:
"Open streamlabs and it won't work, and while it's open you open OBS as well, it'll work there. Once it does you just close it and streamlabs should magically work xD"

Otherwise:

1) You can use regular OBS instead
OR
2) you can use window capture instead of game capture. (Window capture requires you to select a background color for stream avatars, and then use that color in the window capture filter option (Color Key). You can adjust it so the background is transparent)
