Atomic Heart bosses - all bosses confirmed so far

If the Atomic Heart bosses have got you ill at ease, we don't blame you. Many of Sechenov's robots were built for industrial labour on a large scale, making them capable of taking an axe or shotgun shell to the chassis without pause. Thankfully, Mundfish has shown off a variety of ways to handle them once we're dropped into Facility 3826, but it won't be a walk in the park.

While there are plenty of fearsome foes in the retrofuturistic FPS game, Atomic Heart bosses are a cut above the rest. Whether synthetic or organic, these enemies sport robust health bars and devastating abilities that can quickly reduce Atomic Heart protagonist Major P-3 to a bloody pulp. Here are all the Atomic Heart bosses confirmed so far, compiled into one easy list.

Why are people arguing about Atomic Heart?

tomic Heart was a bolt from the blue when its first trailer dropped in 2018, showcasing a shining Soviet retrofuture FPS that seemed like it was learning all the right lessons from BioShock, Stalker, and the Metro series. Never mind that it was the debut game from a new developer—a Russian studio called Mundfish—it was laser-targeted at a category of players who devoured immersive sims and ambitious-but-flawed works of genius from East European studios alike. It very quickly became an object of internet obsession, a game we were intrigued by but knew very little about...

How long is Atomic Heart - length and time to beat

Exactly how long is Atomic Heart? Mundfish's ahistorical action RPG is on the horizon, promising a robot uprising like no other. Taking its inspiration from Bioshock and Far Cry, Atomic Heart drops you into Facility 3826, a top-secret military base under hostile takeover from the servile robots manufactured within. But exactly how long can we expect to fend off waves of drones and companion bots before order is finally restored?

As with most RPG games, Atomic Heart's total playtime varies wildly depending on how you approach it. Are you dead set on barrelling through the story with the single-minded determination of the elite soldier you control? Or are you intent on combing every inch of Facility 3826 to unearth the political machinations of its founder? Either way, here's how many hours you can expect to clock in during your first playthrough of Atomic Heart, an early contender for one of the best PC games of this year.

Atomic Heart skills and skill trees explained

Atomic Heart skills take inspiration from the likes of Bioshock or Fallout, bolstering various aspects of your loadout. While melee and ranged weapons can be upgraded via crafting machine NORA, your character utility and polymer glove abilities can only be enhanced by unlocking skills in the relevant skill trees. Not only can Atomic Heart skills strengthen the core elements of your kit, they can also open up new synergies, making build experimentation viable as you battle through Sechenov's synthetic creations.

You can unlock Atomic Heart skills by spending Neuropolymer, though the amount you'll need for each upgrade is still unknown. It's highly likely that these upgrades will behave similarly to other RPG games, and the more powerful skills will become available as you progress through Facility 3826 and harvest more Neuropolymer. As a contender for one of the best PC games of this year, here's everything we know about Atomic Heart skills.
