Patch notes 28 April 2019

Fixed a bug that would cause your characters to drop out of your army if you rearrange them in the pause menu and drag them to the bottom of the list. If you are missing any characters, but still have them in one of your lances, you can put them back into your army list with the console command "AddMissingPartyMembers".

Changed dialog when Hari and Kalakanda join the party. The story will go in a slightly different direction.

Added more quests to guide you after you return to Sunrise Falls with Bellamy.

Added more crafting supplies that you'll need for the next tier of weapons available beyond South Point Crossing.

Added more NPCs. Still need to add more dialogues in some places, but the cities are slowly filling up.

Patch notes 25 April 2019

Added more indoor areas, vendors, crafting stations, and NPCs to Scrapyard, South Point Crossing, and Misfortune's Gate.

Fixed sound effects and particle effects at crafting stations.

The dialog at Misfortune's Gate and South Point Crossing may not make sense yet. I still need to add more cutscenes to progress the story.

Patch notes 19 April 2019

Fixed sprite vertical offset that had caused some sprites to appear too high above the ground, others to dig into the ground while walking.

Added a sound effect to the Electric Skin reaction ability.

Fixed grass shader, so there are no longer dark clumps of grass next to light clumps of grass.

Added new town Medinat Al-Hajar, which becomes accessible after traveling through the world gate at Candle Keep. There will be major plot developments associated with that event. I need to go and change a few things to make the town accessible via both world gate through the Shadowlands and travel through the desert world map.

Plus a few minor tweaks, including drop rates on certain crafting items.

Patch notes 13 April 2019: Dragons!

We added dragons to the game. Four color variations. Four new character classes. Several new attacks and reactions with animations and sound effects. Dragon names and speech. Dragons are integrated into a few different army types. New druidry crafting recipe and ingredients for hatching dragon eggs.

That's a lot of new dragon-related content that I haven't tested completely. Please let me know what you think and if you run into any problems.

Besides that, we have a bunch of tweaks and small bug fixes. But dragons are definitely the big news today.

Patch notes 7 April 2019

Sorry for the lack of updates over the last couple of days. I got stuck trying to implement Steam input, which would allow you to play the game with any controller. Due to some unforeseen complications with the ancient UE3 source code and the new Steamworks SDK, I'm going to shelve controller support for right now. I'll revisit the issue in the future and I'll have some other people take a look at the code for me too.

But for today's update, you can now rearrange your army from the pause menu. Just click and drag your characters to put them in any order you want.

If I can add anything else today, I'll come back and edit this post.

Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention this earlier. We also fixed the issue where if you talk to a vendor while holding down a movement button, you would keep walking that direction after closing the vendor window. It was because the game didn't register the key-up when the vendor window opens, so it thought the key was still down when the window closed. We now force a key-up when you talk to a vendor, so movement goes back to normal after talking to a vendor. This also fixed the issue where you would sometimes have to press the spacebar twice to interact with things.
