Patch notes 6 March 2021

We are starting a huge overhaul of the entire menu system. Today we are adding the framework in the game for loading different menus depending on which language the game is running in. We also are expanding support for Chinese and Cyrillic fonts.

Patch notes 28 February 2021

  • Fixed more misaligned sprites: demon base, orc base, hair layer under helmet.
  • Darkened blue ogre sprite; was too bright especially in daylight.
  • Updated new color scheme on text areas, scrollbars, and sliders in a few menus that had missed the update.
  • Fixed lighting in river battle map. All the trees had turned black at some point.

Patch notes 27 February 2021

A couple small updates recently added the following:
  • Fixed dialog with MetaQ, where his portrait appeared instead of Aya's
  • Added option to disable speech beeps using the console command SetDisableSpeechBeep
  • Added new weapon Impact Hammer, available in Halgdalir and Candle Outpost
  • Fixed bug that disabled player input after Dresdid joins the party

Patch notes 23 February 2021

Today we changed the following:
  • Started unifying UI colors. We will probably keep tweaking this over the next couple days.
  • Fixed bug where your changes would not save if you left the options menu by pressing escape.
  • Added console command "ce AddJournalEntries" to add the new game concept journal entries for those of you who have already started games. If you start a new game, you will receive these journal entries automatically.
  • Dragons are now much tougher, with much higher attack and defense bonuses. They also have higher hit point growth.
  • Greatly increased the number of places where you can get arcane shards. They now drop from several mid- to late-game armies, and you can also create them using a recipe available from alchemists in Utakawa, Imperial City, and Halgdalir.

Patch notes 22 February 2021

Today we added lots of new journal entries to the game for explaining game mechanics including zone of control, flying units, ranged attacks, movement range, reactions, food, rest, and more. All new games will have these entries in the journal.
