Attention, General!

Today's update brings several bug fixes to Call of War and a new match ending screen for the new Beta Client on desktop.

The new match ending screen of the Beta Client provides you with detailed information about your performance in the game round, it features statistics about produced and destroyed units and information related to the match. Something to check out in the Beta Client when your next match ends.

Apart from the new ending screen for the Beta Client, several bugs got fixed with this release. Opening the Espionage menu does not trigger an error anymore when multiple provinces are selected in the Province Administration. Planes sent on a patrol mission do not just appear at their destination anymore, and the tooltip for speeding up research times in the research menu provides the correct times no matter the speed factor of a map.

Your nation is mobilized, your economy is set up for war, infantry units are deployed to protect the countryside and the finest of your troops are gathered in urban centers across the country!

It is time for you to make the first move and face the enemy!

• Players flagged as inactive after 48 real-life hours
• Fixed runtime of 28 real life days after the game started (if not won earlier)

Dear generals,

the time has come for another speed round event! Cancel all your plans and prepare for some short nights and long fights during the next 14 days. If no player or coalition has achieved a regular victory by that time, the player with the most victory points is declared winner. The end time is displayed in the game information within the newspaper and as a countdown on the right side of the screen. This scenario runs on the CoW 1.5 version, with new features and new balancing.

Settings for this speed round event:

• Player count: 100
  
• 4x speed
  
• starts immediately
  
• Free country selection
  
• players flagged as inactive after 2 real life days
  
• fixed runtime of 14 real life days after the game started (if not won earlier)

If you want to participate in this event simply go to the game list: Within the sign-up period new event rounds will be created on demand and shown on top of the list of new games. As soon as the map has started you will receive a notification to your inbox.

Release Notes - 2022-05-24

Attention, General!

Due to popular demand from the community, the 30-player map 1939 Historic World War can now be created as a private map by any player with a Premium Account. You can join these private maps for free if you yourself have a Premium Account, or for a fee of 5,000 gold if you do not have a Premium Account. Please note that we will monitor this new option closely and may adjust or remove the map if necessary.

With today's update we re-worked the "Home Screen" of the new Beta Client to improve its usability and provide you with the most valuable information and options immediately after entering the game.

Last but not least, we implemented a change designed to increase game performance and address FPS drops when hovering over elements on the map.
