Today we implement a news popup for the Beta Client that will inform you about the latest news in Call of War. This new feature will make sure that you do not miss any update with changes that might be relevant for your strategies in the game.
The popup will only be displayed if you haven't read the news yet. Don't worry, only the very latest update will be displayed, and only if you have not read them yet.

Apart from the new update feature we reworked the espionage panels in the Beta Client to improve their visuals and usability for certain resolutions, common for laptops. Additionally we fixed a bug affecting the functionality of the popup informing players about a lost connection to the servers.

In this scenario all states in North America have unlocked research up to nuclear devices and have equipped their armies with these most deadly weapons. Will you be able to unify the continent under your reign before nuclear winter is coming?

We are shocked and worried about the terrible events unfolding between Russia and Ukraine and are especially concerned for those who have to fear for the safety of themselves and their families. We think of our colleagues from both countries and how they and their loved ones are being affected by the latest events.

To show our support to those who need it the most, we are donating 100 crisis packages with relief supplies for emergencies and 50 winter clothing packs for children affected by war through Unicef.

We create strategy games not to support the war or to glorify it. We create games to bring people together.

Dear generals,

the time has come for another speed round event! Cancel all your plans and prepare for some short nights and long fights during the next 14 days. If no player or coalition has achieved a regular victory by that time, the player with the most victory points is declared winner. The end time is displayed in the game information within the newspaper and as a countdown on the right side of the screen. This scenario runs on the CoW 1.5 version, with new features and new balancing.
