Attention Generals!

Today’s update brings some quality of life updates and bug fixes to Call of War. We added missing Victory Points to the provinces of Antalya, Minsk, and Nizhny Novgorod in the “Saturday Madness” event map. We also added a toggle to switch off the gold confirmation popup on the popup itself when using the beta client. You can reactivate the popup at any time in the settings again.

In this event you will not know friends nor family: In a 100p map with the ‘anonymous round’ feature enabled and no coalitions you will be pitted against 99 other players in a struggle for survival.

The event maps will start immediately after their creation with random country selection enabled and will run at normal speed. Players are flagged as inactive after 2 days. There is also an AI & human player peace period of 1 real-life day. We also enabled the Elite AI but will not charge any entry fee for this exclusive event.
Additional option this time: 6 week time-box. The game will end after 6 weeks, the player with the highest victory points wins and receives a large gold price.

If you want to participate in this event simply go to the game list: Within the sign-up period new event rounds will be created on demand and shown on top of the list of new games.

In this exciting scenario the Axis won the war and established colonial empires in North America. While Japan exploits the west the Germans claimed the eastern shores of the former Land of the Free. But resistance is growing in the heartland of the fallen states and patriots are reclaiming the heritage of the Founding Fathers.

Liberate the United States from foreign occupation or defeat the uprising patriots in the center of the North American continent in this alternative history scenario!

Release Notes - 2021-06-08

Attention, Generals!

Today we implement additional improvements to the province list of the beta client.

According to your feedback, the province list can now be moved to the right edge of the screen and remembers its last size and position when reloading the game. Sorting buttons for buildings were reimplemented at the top of the list in addition to other small improvements. We also re-added the region filter, which allows you to list only provinces of a specific region and made adjustments to improve the performance of the list when displaying a large number of provinces.

Furthermore, the update brings adjustments to the recently updated color gradient effect on landmasses to make small islands less dark and brings several bug fixes to the game. Check out all the details on the forums.

Time flies, as they say! Just like the fighters and bombers these days. The Germans are rearming, the Russians are on the move and the Royal Navy is on high alert! It looks like we are only hours away until war breaks out in Europe once again.

Mobilize your troops and prepare yourself for whatever enemy you may face! “Rush for Europe” is a special event map which runs on breathtaking 6 times the speed of normal game rounds! Even the tiniest decision could have severe consequences at this pace. Experience the war for Europe in a way you have never seen it before!
