Change of Events - Update



Dear Players,

In light of the currently unfolding events in Europe, we've decided to make last minute adjustments to our monthly event schedule. As we think it would be distasteful to start our originally planned “Rush for Europe” event this weekend, it will instead be replaced with our “All Countries: All In! X4” event, which will run until Monday, 28 February 2022 at 11:00 am CET.

We are creating games to bring people together, and in the current situation it feels unfitting to host said event. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Release Notes - 2022-02-22



Attention, Generals!

Today's release lowers the chance of provinces revolting in newly created game rounds.

It hurts to see a province change ownership after a revolt due to low morale. Especially when you fought viciously to conquer it. Although the mechanic will stay to make sure that you, as the reign of those provinces, take care of your citizens, we acknowledge your feedback that this happens a bit too often. We therefore raised the threshold when a revolt can happen, and we lowered the needed army strength to suppress a revolt in a province.

Today's update also brings a few bug fixes, among other things. For example, we fixed an issue that prevented the Fire Control setting to automatically change back from the Offensive setting of AI controlled units, after a player returned from being inactive. We also added a few missing images in the Beta Client.

Rush for Europe



Attention, Generals!

Time flies, as they say! Just like the fighters and bombers these days. The Germans are rearming, the Russians are on the move and the Royal Navy is on high alert! It looks like we are only hours away until war breaks out in Europe once again.

Mobilize your troops and prepare yourself for whatever enemy you may face! “Rush for Europe” is a special event map which runs on breathtaking 6 times the speed of normal game rounds! Even the tiniest decision could have severe consequences at this pace. Experience the war for Europe in a way you have never seen it before!

  • Player count: 22
  • 6x speed
  • Starts immediately
  • Free country selection
  • Advanced starting units (incl. armored cars, artilleries, anti tank, light tanks, infantries and anti air) are available from start
  • fixed runtime of 14 real life days after the game started (if not won earlier)


If you want to participate in this event simply go to the game list: Within the sign-up period ( new event rounds will be created on demand and shown on top of the list of new games.

Attention, Generals!

Some battles are not meant to be fought alone and our next event is one of them. Join the 100 player map and choose which of the two sides will benefit from your knowledge as a leader and tactician. Prepare for the biggest team fight in the history of Call of War.

  • Starts-when-full
  • Random country selection & free selection among 2 teams
  • Players flagged as inactive after 2 real-life days
  • AI & human player peace period of 1 real-life day
  • fixed runtime of 28 real life days after the game started (if not won earlier)

Release Notes - 2022-02-09



Attention, General!

Today's update brings some quality-of-life improvements for mobile Generals, including additional tooltips and the display of Coalition Victory points requirements in the newspaper in the app.

We also fixed some bugs across all platforms. Should you have noticed that one or several of your convoys on the road or at sea received a suspiciously high amount of damage by enemy units, be assured that is a thing of the past now!

Furthermore we fixed an issue for mobile Generals using a browser on their phone to play Call of War that prevented them from creating a coalition in game rounds.
