Rush for Europe



Attention, Generals!

Time flies, as they say! Just like the fighters and bombers these days. The Germans are rearming, the Russians are on the move and the Royal Navy is on high alert! It looks like we are only hours away until war breaks out in Europe once again.

Mobilize your troops and prepare yourself for whatever enemy you may face! “Rush for Europe” is a special event map which runs on breathtaking 6 times the speed of normal game rounds! Even the tiniest decision could have severe consequences at this pace. Experience the war for Europe in a way you have never seen it before!

  • 6x speed
  • Starts-when-full
  • Free country selection
  • Advanced starting units (incl. armored cars, artilleries, anti tank, light tanks, infantries and anti air) are available from start
  • AI & human player peace period of 12 real-life hours
  • fixed runtime of 14 real life days after the game started (if not won earlier)

Doomsday - Event



Attention, Generals!

What will happen if all states in North America are armed with nuclear weapons? Who will be able to survive? Who will push the button first? The Doomsday Clock is ticking…

In this scenario all states in North America have unlocked research up to nuclear devices and have equipped their armies with these most deadly weapons. Will you be able to unify the continent under your reign before nuclear winter is coming?

Settings for the Doomsday event:

  • 50 player North America map
  • 1x speed
  • Starts when full
  • Random country selection
  • Max. game duration 4 weeks
  • Advanced starting units (incl. nuclear rockets and bombers) and researches are available from start
  • Completely developed urban provinces and partly developed rural provinces
  • AI & human player peace period of 24 real-life hours
  • fixed runtime of 28 real life days after the game started (if not won earlier)

Attention, Generals!

Today’s update brings several bug fixes to Call of War and Call of War 1.5 game rounds.

We minimized the chance of revolting provinces joining a nation that is located on the other side of the map, we made sure that players get their rewards after they conquered their supply drops in CoW 1.5 and we resolved an issue that highlighted the wrong unit on the map, when players were searching for a unit ID!



For a complete overview of all bug fixes in today’s release, please check the list below:

Call of War 1.5:

  • We resolved an issue that prevented the Patras province on the CoW 1.5 22 player map from having the rare material production the map icon indicates.
    This change will affect newly created game rounds only. Game rounds created before this update are not affected.
  • We resolved an issue that caused an error message being displayed when a player conquered a supply drop.
  • We fixed an issue that caused an icon of a tank being displayed in the army bar of SP anti-air. SP anti-air units now have the correct icon in their army bar.


General:

  • We drastically lowered the possibility that a province joins a faraway country after it revolted.
    Note: This change does not affect the possibility of province revolts in general.
  • We resolved an issue that could prevent several orders from being executed by units when not followed by a movement command.
  • We fixed an issue that caused the wrong unit ID being highlighted on the map, when a unit ID was searched using ctrl + f.
  • We resolved an issue on mobile, that prevented the correct number of daily costs for a unit type being displayed, when the amount was a four digit number or higher.
  • We adjusted the German flag to make it more distinguishable from the Yugoslavian flag.
  • We fixed an issue that prevented players from scrolling the settings tab in the alliance menu on mobile devices.

Speed Round 1.5



Dear generals,

the time has come for another speed round event! Cancel all your plans and prepare for some short nights and long fights during the next 14 days. If no player or coalition has achieved a regular victory by that time, the player with the most victory points is declared winner. The end time is displayed in the game information within the newspaper and as a countdown on the right side of the screen. This scenario runs on the CoW 1.5 version, with new features and new balancing.

Settings for this speed round event:

  • 4x speed
  • starts when full
  • Free country selection
  • players flagged as inactive after 2 real life days
  • 1 real life day of AI & human player peace period
  • fixed runtime of 14 real life days after the game started (if not won earlier)

Arms Race



Dear generals,

it is time for another challenge. However, you won't be alone in this upcoming fight. 150 strong troops will unite and fight for you in this week’s event Arms Race. Your army will consist of light tanks, medium tanks, artillery units, mechanized infantries, anti-tank units, commandos and anti-air units. These troops will be stationed in all urban provinces protecting your already fully upgraded buildings, ready to receive orders. In all non-urban provinces you will find additional infantry troops.

  • 2x speed

  • players flagged as inactive after 48 real-life hours
  • AI & human player peace period of 24 real-life hours
  • fixed runtime of 28 real life days after the game started (if not won earlier)
