A step closer to release.

More animals added. Rhino, hippo, lion, lioness, crocodile, and elephants. Still more work to do on the AI and to link in the achievements but hopefully we will get more progress to that tomorrow.

The quests are working from the female gorillas but are not linked to achievements yet.

New biomes added for rivers/coastline, rainforest,mountains and savannah.

Another day or two for initial full release but work will of course still continue after that.

We look forward to getting feedback for new features and additions.

New/current purchasers still qualify for a free copy of the first episode of our next game titled "Lightmare Castle" A story driven medieval adventure.

Latest version is live as we move towards initial full release. We have fixed the black and white lighting glitch after finally being able to replicate it.

Improvements to the terrain and rendering means we are now hitting 60fps average on our mid-range test PC (i7 4790k CPU, 660ti GPU). (1080p). More improvements will be made soon.

The quest system is in and producing procedural quests from female gorillas. This is the first version and will be added to in the next update.

As mentioned before as an extra bonus and thank you for your support all Early Access owners will be eligible to receive the first episode of our next game free of charge. This will be announced as we move towards full release which is still on schedule for the end of this month with a few days give or take.

We are busy working on adding the new animals and AI behaviour along with refining the quest system and linking with achievements.

Some great new animals being added at the moment. Soon to be seen are lions, crocodiles, rhinos and elephants.

We now have the basis of the working quest system which is going to be used to develop the social bonds in the gorilla troop along with task linked to achievements in the game.

Big changes are happening in the game. I can't wait to get them online and see what you make of them.

We would like to announce the game's final pre-release sale will begin today.

The game will leave early access on or very close to 31 October 2018.

As an additional bonus to all early access owners you will also be given a free copy of our next game (to be announced very soon).

The only info I can give is it is going to be an episodic adventure and all The Lonely Gorilla early access owners will get the first episode free.

Updates are a little slow at the moment because the re-write of the weather system has led to a couple of issues that we are working through but expect much faster updates through September and October as we close in on release.

Just a quick announcement that a new update will be delivered shortly (next week or so) with achievements included. I have had to focus on the business side of things for the last few weeks but that is completed now so the focus is back on updates.

After that we will list the road map to leaving early access which is still on schedule for 6-10 weeks time.

We will also announce a bonus for all early assess purchases which we hope everyone will appreciate.
