We are excited to announce the launch of Season 3 of Splitgate: Arena Warfare! Season 3 features a ton of new content, including 6 new maps, a new competitive gamemode, new social gamemodes, a new Arena Pass, and MUCH more!

[h3]New 4v4 Map - Lavawell[/h3]
Lavawell is Splitgate's newest and boldest map yet! Players will fight alongside running lava to control power weapons, highground, and key portal walls in this volcano-inspired arena.

[h3]New Competitive Gamemode - TAKEDOWN[/h3]
Two teams of three face off in a best of 7 Series. A team's respawn timer increases by 4 seconds every time a player on that team dies. A team's respawn timer decreases by 2 seconds every time a player on that team gets a kill. For example, if your team's respawn timer is at 3 seconds, and a teammate dies, they will respawn in 7 seconds. If you or your team then get a kill, they will respawn in 5 seconds. If everyone on your team is dead and waiting to respawn at the same time, you lose the round.

[h3]Season 3 Arena Pass[/h3]
Progress through 100 levels of the Season 3 Arena Pass to earn awesome cosmetics, including multiple new EXCLUSIVE weapon and armor sets, sprays, emotes, portal guns, jetpacks and more! Everyone can participate; however, players who purchase the Premium Arena Pass unlock more exclusive content. If you make it to level 100 of the Premium Arena Pass, you unlock the STEAMPUNK Shotgun. Good luck!



[h3]Additional Season 3 Updates[/h3]
- 5 NEW Simulation maps for the new gamemode, TAKEDOWN!
- The release of the Splitgate Practice Range! Players can now test each weapon in the Splitgate Practice Range, as well as practice their portal placements and portal movements.
- Multiple new Rumble game modes, including One in the Chamber and Fiesta (starting loadouts are random)!

Splitgate's third season will launch in one month, marking the end of Season 2. You now have 30 days to finish your Season 2 Arena Pass. Remember, if you have not purchased the Season 2 Arena Pass, it is not too late! You will receive all the Premium rewards up to your current Arena Pass level.

You still have 30 days left to earn your Season 2 Arena Pass rewards! Remember, if you have not purchased the Season 2 Arena Pass yet, it is not too late! When you purchase the premium Splitgate Season 2 Arena Pass, you unlock all the premium rewards up to your current Arena Pass level. The level 100 reward is the Legendary KINGDOM Battle Rifle!

Patch Notes: 2.3.0 Update

Online
- Continuous Lobbies
- Social games will now automatically start next game after it is finished rather than auto-requeueing you for another game
- You will still have the option to Find a New Match in the post game screen if you want to find a game with new players
- Game Reconnects
- Adding ability to reconnect to games if you were disconnected for any reason other than a manual quit
- Upon returning to Main Menu, you will be prompted to reconnect if one is available
- Temporary bans for leaving in-progress ranked games have been re-enabled
- If you reconnect to a game then you will not be banned
- Other players will be prohibited to leave a ranked match for 1 minute after the first player quits, after that it will be safe to quit unless that player reconnected

Maps
- Helix: Added SMG
- Fixed bad spawn locations on Silo and Outpost

Weapons/Balancing
- BFB spawn time increased from 120 seconds to 150 seconds

Gameplay
- Fixed bug where other players could get stuck in falling state and no longer play movement animations
- Fixed one cause of portal rotation bug
- Fixed issues during countdown on LAN / Practice vs bots game types
- Fixed bug that could cause other player’s movement to sometimes be less smooth
- Tweaked weapon prioritization values when overlapping multiple weapon pickups
Game Modes
- Rocket Domination: Increased jetpack, health, and enabled unlimited clip size

UI
- Added Name Tags to Locker Screen - You are now able to equip name tags that are earned for winning tournaments, etc.
- Fixed bug where weapon charge level UI would incorrectly show sometimes
- Fixed bug where battery weapons wouldn’t show unlimited ammo in HUD
- Locker thumbnail improvements

Audio
- Fixed issue where the BFB sound wouldn’t stop when you died
- Fixed bug with BFB ambient audio sometimes being too loud

Spectator/Replay
- Fixed HUD visibility bugs when joining a match in progress as a spectator

Misc
- Other minor bug fixes and improvements

Patch Notes 2.2.0

Maps
- Silo Revamp - Silo has gotten a graphics boost and is ready for battle
- Stadium Gameplay Changes - BR KOTH hills moved to AR, Sniper moved to Rail spawn, Shotgun moved to Sniper spawn, Railgun moved to Shotgun spawn

UI
- Damage Numbers - Damage number indicators have been added to HUD (toggleable in settings)
- HUD Refresh
- Improving Style and Visibility of all HUD elements
- HUD elements are anchored to center of the screen for Ultrawide monitors
- Redesigned Scoreboard
- In-game scoreboard has been redesigned to show more in-depth stats for yourself as well as medals for your position in game
- Player cards now show Armor Customization as well as equipped inventory (team only)
- Text Chat now shows above Victory screen when game is over
- Ranks are now only shown in post game

Gameplay
- Assists now count as kills for your in-game stats
- Fixing exploit that allows players to skip equip animation
- Fixing inconsistent starting spawn points on various maps

Balancing
- Railgun battery usage: 20% → 25% (now holds 4 shots)

Anti-Cheat
- EQU8 Anti-Cheat - We have switched Anti-Cheat providers and are now using EQU8
- Resolving issues where anti-cheat wouldn’t run when you clicked “Send and Restart” in crash screen

Game Modes
- Zombie VIP - Radar Enabled + Shotgun for VIP
- Rocket DOM - Jetpack Enabled with weaker boost

Spectator/Killcam
- Fixing portal color and indicator issues when switching POVs
- Fixing issue where projectiles weren’t spawning for POV player
- Disabling replay/killcam settings in-game to fix infinite black screen when toggling these settings

Misc
- Upgraded Unreal Engine to the latest version which includes performance and stability improvements
- NOTE: This update is a relatively large update due to the upgraded version
- Other Minor Bug Fixes and Improvements

* Competitive Season 2 starts today at 9 AM!
* Playlist Rotations - Playlists will be available at various times during the day for a select period of time
* This gives you all more ways to play Splitgate, and allows us to test which modes are community favorites! We will be adjusting schedule based on feedback
* Playing playlists other than Social will give you an XP Boost

Rumble - New Playlist!
* Rumble contains a variety of modes with modified game settings (low gravity, super speed, etc.)
* Zombie VIP - Each team has 1 VIP equipped with a carbine to defend against enemies with bats travelling at 1.5x speed. VIP has 80 Health, Others have 40 Health
* Super KOTH - King of the Hill with Shotguns Only + 1.5x Speed + Unlimited Ammo
* Splitball - Oddball with BFBs Only + 1.5x Speed + No Portals + Low Gravity
* Rocket Domination - Domination with Unlimited Rockets Only, No Jetpack, 1.5x Gravity, 2.5x Jump Height
* Old School Slayer - No Portals, No Sprinting, No Jetpack, 0.9x Speed, 1.5x Jump Height, 150 Health
* Lasertag - Plasma Only, Low Gravity + 1.5x Jetpack Boost
* Big Head Snipers - Snipers Only, Big Heads

Game Modes
* Loadout for Social Modes will stay as Carbine + Assault Rifle
* Loadout for Competitive Modes will be Carbine + Pistol
* Sniper Spawns with only 1 clip in 2v2 Modes

Killcam
* Adding a Highlights Only option to Killcam which only shows Killcam if you were killed in highlight worthy fashion
* Killcam setting defaults to Highlights Only, you can change in settings
* Fixing issue where Killcam would show a black screen for an extended period of time

UI
* Fixing issue where Item Shop would scroll back to start after inspecting an item
* Fixing performance issues in Locker screen
* Other minor layout improvements
