Console Updates, Future Plans, and MORE!

Dear Splitgate community,

For those who don't know, Splitgate started off as just a couple of college students (1047 was the address of our dorm) with an idea to combine two of our favorite games, Halo and Portal. We've put our heart and soul (and personal savings) into Splitgate, and it has turned into something far beyond what we ever originally imagined. We are proud of what we have accomplished as a new game studio, and we have learned so much that we think will enable us to grow in the future and establish a healthy playerbase.

Our community is filled with very passionate and positive Splitgate supporters and for that we thank you all. We take every piece of feedback seriously, and we love reading your comments and ideas. The feedback from the Season 1 update has been very positive and retention has greatly improved. So now, we just need to build on that.

In addition to continuing to improve the PC version of Splitgate and developing for consoles with a target release of Q1 2020, one of our fall projects is to raise enough money to give Splitgate the marketing push it deserves and give the community the player base it deserves.

In the meantime, please keep playing and spreading the word. We aren't going away any time soon, and we hope you won't either.

Love,
1047 Games
