Lawgivers II has been announced!!

We are very happy to announce that the Lawgivers II store page just went live up here --> Steam page
Feel free to wishlist the game and be ready to start your political career as soon as possible :)

The sequel to Lawgivers will come with a much expanded gameplay and much more features such as:
  • 3D World Map with regions and districts of the most popular countries in the world
  • A fully operative government (President + Cabinet)
  • An enhanced parliament/congress with more seats and the speaker of the house
  • Multiple electoral systems such as first-past-the-post or the proportional D'Hondt method
  • An economic trade and war system between nations
  • Singleplayer and multiplayer modes
  • Mods and Seamworkshop support

As you probably now, Lawgivers started as small mobile game but thanks to the (unexpected) support recieved we were able to make it to Steam, but the game was missing some comfort features such as tooltips. We tried to listen to all feedback, so Lawgivers II has been redesigned from scratch and ready to compete with the most popular games on this platform.

Update 1.7

Friends, hope you are all fine these days! Update 1.7 is out with more content and changes.

Changelog:

- 3 new laws "Cultural subsidy", "Free public transport" and "Propaganda law"
- 3 new achievements
- general laws rebalancing
- in some cases, citizen where approving laws with referendums even if they couldn't
- fixed another bug that could stop the game advancement
- more minor changes

Today we are exiting early access. I really hope you enjoyed all updates and improvements and feel overall satisfacted with the product. Lawgivers has been in development since 2015 with more than 120 public updates since it's first appearence on Android. I've asked the community on discord and we agree that it's finally time to move forward. More improvements could have been made, it's true, but they are very difficult to implement and highly risk to break the game. If needed, there will of course be more balance and bug fixes!

Thank you a lot for all support, you made a small developer like me succeed in a very difficult market and with all experience made, I'm sure the next project will really bring political simulation to the next level.

Stay tuned!
