We have been working on the project for an unbelieveably long time and poured all of our heart and soul into it. The original HWR had a very unique vision behind it, a vision that — for a variety of reasons — we were not able to fully accomplish at the time. As you know, our main focus for Heads Will Roll Reforged is to create a game that is worthy of being a true reimagining of the original. While we're nearly there, we've come to realize that we need to spend more time on tweaks, changes and updates, as well as distance ourselves from the release of Baldur's Gate 3.

To ensure that everyone has the best possible experience, we have decided to postpone the launch, so that all preparations can be made and a release can be planned across multiple platforms. A definitive release date for the game has been set - October 4, 2023.

Featuring more than 40 hours of gameplay on each playthrough, and no two playthroughs ever the same, with new features and new characters, it will definitely be worth the wait!

The Demo tells the story of an ordinary medieval soldier fighting in a war between England ans Scotland. Taking on his role, the player will begin the adventure as a peasant with no military experience and will have to work hard to survive as danger will be waiting around every corner. The story will face you with a lot of difficult choices that will test your moral principles and make you suffer the consequences of your actions.
