October 7, 2021 Change List

[h2]Light VS Dark event starts TODAY (October 7) at 3 PM Pacific![/h2]

• Choose Team Dark or Team Light
  
• Collect crystals to beat the opposing team and earn rewards!
  
• Leaderboards show who is winning!
  
• Legions Mode live October 7 - 14
  
• 9v9 War Mode live October 14 - 21
  

Legions Mode is available for matchmaking from October 7 - 14 and 9v9 War Mode live October 14 - 21! (Squads is still the default mode)

[h2]Guns[/h2]

• UMP: Base damage increased from 11->12
  
• S85: Base damage decreased from 60->55 (damage per rarity is now: 55, 60, 65, 70)
  
• S85: Headshot multiplier rarity bonus lowered from 9.5% -> 5% per rarity level
  
• Shotguns: Pellets now always match their visuals when passing close to environment objects, instead of sometimes being blocked
  

[h2]Melee[/h2]

• Fixed long trail flash on 1st slash after equipping a melee item
  
• Player characters now flash red when hitting them with a melee item
  
• Swords: Always deal at least 25 damage, regardless of swing distance
  

[h2]Gameplay[/h2]

• Post Match: Players can now still shoot, climb, and place sprays during post match after winning
  
• Defibs: Simply holding the paddles pointing each other will now auto charge, but at half the speed as actively rubbing them together
  
• Defibs: Revive radius is slightly more forgiving to help with issue of reviving moving teammates
  
• Bot AI Improvements: Fixed cases that could cause bots to die to the zone

• Zone Grenade: Red liquid in the grenade canister now moves like lava
  
• Particles: Steel door now has its own special effect when broken
  
• Main Menu: Fixed issue where item inventory screen could be opened when not needed

August 26, 2021 Change List

Fabled Face-off event and Legions Game Mode! Fabled Face-off starts TODAY at 12 pm Pacific.

[h2]Legions Mode[/h2]

• Limited-time 6v6v6v6 battle royale mode
  
• Form a squad with up to 2 friends and get matched with other players to create a mega squad of 6
  
• 2 mega squads spawn on each launch tower, launch towers are on opposite sides of the map
  
• Legions is selected by default when 1st launching the game (can manually switch to squads mode)
  

[h2]Skin Fixes[/h2]

• Ragdolls will no longer appear 'exploded' when flopping around
  
• Fixed issue where backpack wings would not open or close properly for other players
  
• Doubled the range of LOD0 and LOD1 for characters (higher quality models show further)
  
• Character skins that fail to load will show as a blue "loading character" instead of invisible
  
• Item skins that fail to load will show as default grey instead of invisible
  

[h2]Custom Rooms[/h2]

• 4 new modifiers
  
• Movement Speed: Changes the default player move speed
  
• Fling Speed: Changes how fast/high a player can fling themselves while climbing
  
• Gravity Modifier: Changes how "floaty" players are when they fall
  
• Launch Pod Fuel: Changes the distance a launch pod is allowed to fly
  

[h2]General[/h2]

• Environment: Assorted collision & visual fixes
  
• PCVR: AWP no longer hitches when scoping in
  
• IK: Solved "sunken character" bug (legs over a ledge don't drop the character down)
  
• Recoil: Fixed issue where holding a gun too close to the eyes would cause it to have higher recoil
  
• Intro:Lowered volume of intro music
  
• Performance: Reduced hitching (especially noticeable on Quest 1)

[h3]New Destination - Kingdom[/h3]

• "Kingdom" has been established to the south of Plains. A new age has dawned on Pop1
  
• Kingdom introduces a variety of unique gameplay areas:
  
  • Castle Grounds
    
  • Peasant's Quarters
    
  • Noble District
    
  • The Rural Countryside
    
  • Wizard's Tower in the Ruins
    
• Trees: New tree type in Kingdom and classic trees have been beautified
  

[h2]Event 1[/h2]

• Kingdom Conquest will be available at launch (August 5 - 16)
  
• Earn points by collecting crystals, dealing damage, and getting kills
  
• Crystals can be found all over the map!
  
• 10 rewards total: 6 guns skins, 2 sprays, 1 title, and PJ (Gallant)
  

[h2]Gameplay Changes[/h2]
Excalibur

• The legendary sword graces the land of Pop1 (and all are worthy!)
  
• Deals up to 75 damage directly to health
  
• Bonus 25% to move speed while equipped

• New launch platform location at the South of the map for easy Kingdom hot drops
  
• New loot rarity amplifiers at the round table, wizard tower, and entrance tree
  
• Fixed invisible grenade
