Good news for zoo directors with an extensive circle of friends: The Zoological Society has opened up a new region: the Menagerie.

Of course you will have to own the Zoological Society and fulfill a few tasks to unlock this new region.



After this, it will offer all the challenges and amenities the normal zoo offers, but will grant you full friendship stars for completed tasks, giving you access to valuable rewards quicker.

In honor of the new region we will be celebrating Alaska Day on October 18th.

For 24 hours, breeding times and costs will be halved for many animals typical for the Americal polar region, like the American Black Bear, Kodiak bears, Bold Eagles, Narwhales and the like. On top of this, every successful breeding completed within that period will reward the proud parents with twins.

Far East scents waft through My Free Zoo. This year's Autumn Event whisks you away to the Himalayas.

Turn your zoo into a Tibetan mountain village with ginseng, Buddhist structures and the national drink - Yakbutter Tea!



This decoration event will also let you earn a fitting animal for the scenery: the Tibetan Sand Fox, which you can keep in rock, savanna and ice enclosures.

If you missed them the last few years, you'll also have the chance to get gaurs and elks for your zoo. You'll have until September 19 at 10:59 am CST to decorate your zoo and collect prayer flags.

There's a new challenge waiting for you in My Free Zoo: the Amazonian Collection. You'll find it in your achievements menu which you can access by clicking on the trophy in your main menu bar.



There are two parts to the Amazonian Collection: Amazonian Land Animals and Amazonian Water Animals. For each of these tasks, you need to breed 10 specimens of specific Amazon animals and release them. These include jaguars, marsh deer, giant otters and Amazonian dolphins.

As soon as you've bred and released all required animals for each part, you'll get a Bald Uakari. This special Amazonian monkey has a scarlet face. Bald Uakaris live in groups in the treetops and feed primarily on fruit.

The Uakari can only be obtained through the Amazonian collection. Each part (water and land) will give you one Bald Uakari. Upon completing both parts, you'll have two Uakaris to breed!

You can now find at least one piece of the brand-new Sloth Bear in every bronze booster.

This unusual bear primarily occurs in India and prefers to feed on insects. It has a long, slender tongue, shaggy, mostly black fur, and long, sickle-shaped claws.



To get your very own Sloth Bear, you'll need 100 card pieces, which you can collect from boosters or trade with friends. In every 200th booster opened worldwide, you'll find eight sloth bear card pieces! Come get your first card piece now!

By the way, from now until Wednesday, August 15, at 11:00 am CEST, you can take advantage of the double booster week in My Free Zoo. When you buy a bronze, silver or gold booster, you'll get a second booster of the same type free!

Wow your Visitors with Food, Drinks and Souvenirs!

Now you have new options for pampering your guests in My Free Zoo with food, drinks and souvenirs: the superstores are here! There are two types of superstore: gourmet stores and souvenir stores. Each of these is available in three tiers - super, mega and giga stores.



There are two ways to get a superstore:

Option 1: You can buy the superstore for Diamonds straight from the zoo shop.

Option 1: You can trade in existing shops for a superstore.

This is how it works:

You'll need a large shopping mall filled with shops. You can decide, if you would like to turn it into a gourmet store or a souvenir store.

Once you have clicked on your choice, you can remove all decorations, paths and not-relevant shops from your mall with the simple click of a button.

Example:

If you decide to turn your mall into a gourmet store, you'll remove all decorations, wallpapers, paths and souvenir shops, so that food and drink shops are the only thing that remains.

You can then you can transform your store. Depending on how many shops (and they money they could make) you had, your mall will be turned into a super, mega or giga store.

The advantage of a superstore are twofold: You save time because you don't have to collect your ZD income as often and only need to click one pin and they use up significantly less space than a mall.
