It’s the time of the year when the gaming community gets together and reflects on an incredible year for games. This year has brought some truly awesome experiences and the Kingdom team is cheering for everyone that has contributed to the gaming landscape of 2024.

We are proud to have contributed ourselves, with the launch of Kingdom Two Crowns 2.0 and the Call of Olympus DLC - our biggest, most ambitious addition to Kingdom Two Crowns ever. It’s been such a great ride with reveals, activities and finally to share your moment of discovery and exploration, albeit with a few speed bumps at times.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the community members who have helped us identify a set of issues by submitting bug reports, enabling us to find the root cause of most of them.
We are working hard to get back to you with a new set of fixes as soon as we can, so that everyone can experience the game as we envisioned it. Call of Olympus is the most ambitious set of changes, upgrades and experiments with features of Kingdom Two Crowns and we have expanded on many of the things we enjoy and taken them to the next level.

We truly love Kingdom and we hope this love is felt. We would be grateful, if you’d be considering us for the “Labor of Love” category in this year’s Steam Awards and we will be back as soon as possible to roll out the next bugfix patch for the game.

Thank you for your understanding while we're doing our best to fix the issues you have reported to us. This patch fixes the following:

• Fixed an issue where you could get a soft lock, if you picked up more souls for Hermes's quest than what’s actually needed to complete it. This patch fixes this issue for players who have already encountered this, and also prevents it from happening in the future.
  

We are also hard at work on a bigger patch that will include various bug fixes. One of our top priorities right now is the multiplayer irregularities some of you have encountered. Thank you for taking your time and reporting them to us - the tickets you create at our support desk are invaluable as the save files and logs that you share allow us to get to the bottom of the issue. If you’re experiencing problems with the multiplayer (disconnects, lags, etc.) and you have not reported them yet, please submit them to our support desk:

1. When you encounter the issue, please press CTRL+F12 to get a zip file on your desktop.
2. Send the file to our support mentioning that it's related to the multiplayer issue in the title - https://rawfury.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1

Thank you for taking your time and bearing with us while we were working hard to investigate the issues you’ve encountered, the feedback you all provide has allowed us to continuously and rapidly deploy fixes. These patch notes include the following:

• Fixed an issue with an infinite loading screen being shown, caused by previously corrupt save files. Your save files will not be lost.
  
• Fixed an issue that would cause time to stop after player actions during the tutorial in local co-op.
  
• Fixed several issues that may cause the game to crash in the Call of Olympus campaign.
  
• Fixed an issue that would cause some players to be stuck inside the Cave Portal while exiting a Cave. Loading a currently affected save on this patch will solve the problem.
  
• The Souls for Hermes' Quest will now spawn at a higher rate across your Call of Olympus campaign. This will prevent players from being blocked from progressing in new saves of the game. Players that were already experiencing a roadblock in progression due to missing Souls will now find the necessary Souls to complete the quest at the Dock on Hermes' Quest island, but only once all other quests are complete.
  
• Fixed an issue that prevented players from buying back lost gems at the Marketplace in Call of Olympus. You may need to revisit the islands where the Gems were first lost if the buy back option is not available immediately.
  
• An adequate number of Gem Chests will now spawn in new saves of the Call of Olympus campaign. If you have been soft locked on Artemis' Quest on a previous save due to a lack of available Gems, please reach out to our support desk so we can help.
  
• Asked the Greed to adjust their clocks so they can arrive on time at your Kingdom walls, instead of being too early.
  
• We also made sure your Knights will bring their archers closer to the wall at night for a more robust defense.
  

We’re also aware of a connectivity issue and are working hard to investigate it and issue a fix as soon as possible.

We thank you for your patience as we’ve been working hard to develop fixes for issues you have reported to us. This patch includes the following:

• Fixed another issue that prevented some older save files from migrating correctly to the new save system, causing an infinite loading screen. Loading your save file with your game updated to the hotfix patch should resolve the issue.
  
• For Mac users who are still experiencing the black screen, we are currently working on a fix. You can try to work around this problem by pressing Fn + F to exit fullscreen, and then enter fullscreen again. This should resolve the issue.
