Update 0.55.8 release notes

Hello, fighters! We’ve rolled out update 0.55.8 and here’s what changed.



Clans got new clans skills to study.

PvE:
- Added “PvE damage III” and “Vivisector II” skills
PvP:
- Added “PvP damage II” and “PvP Critical Hit II” skills
Craft:
- Added “Miner II”, “Big Clan Storage III” and “Big Clan Storage IV”

New spawn points have been added to the location and the attack of monsters has been improved. Now, depending on the monster's size, they will attack different body parts: feet, legs, arms, body, and sometimes even head. Damage from monsters can be slightly changed because armor has different protection levels depending on the body parts. The lake not far away from Sosnovka now has a fishing zone.

An issue has been fixed that prevented weapons from loading if the reload animation was interrupted by clicking on the mouse buttons before the animation was finished, the PDA interface was improved.

The servers were stopped for maintenance, please update the game client.

Update 0.55.7 - Airdrop and S&W .500 Special

Good day, fighters!

Today we've published update 0.55.7, which added a new phenomenon "Airdrop" to the game. Also, was added a new rare pistol S&W .500 Special. The Old Man in white robe has been removed from the game, and all the necessary components to complete his quests have been removed.



[h2]Airdrop[/h2]

Despite the fact that the WSC company has not existed for more than 50 years, it looks like the orbital stations still do not know anything about it: therefore, they periodically send valuable humanitarian cargo. At least that's what the legends say, which are told by the few who were lucky enough to face this phenomenon.

[h2]"S&W .500 Special" revolver [/h2]

A very rare handgun that might be found in the game - "The S&W .500 Special" has been added to the game. Due to the elongated barrel, it has better accuracy and more damage and also has the possibility to install a PO-1 optical sight, which will undoubtedly be appreciated by lovers of accurate shooting.



[h2]S1 Ammo[/h2]

S1 ammo sets for popular weapons have added to the in-game store. These rounds are an exact copy of the M1 in terms of characteristics. They cannot be sold to commissions and merchants, but they can be put into account inventory. There are also rumors that this ammunition can be found in the game world.

[h2]Other changes:[/h2]
  • The old man in white robes was removed from the locations, all the items necessary for the complete his quests were also removed. Players who did not manage to complete the quests can cancel them in the PDA;
  • All Lunar New Year items have been removed from the in-game store;
  • Improved PDA interface design;
  • Improved the behavior of the roaming boar;
  • Improved "prank-lizard" behavior;
  • The problem with the incorrect infliction of damage by an RPG projectile against energy shields has been fixed: sometimes the shield was not destroyed when the projectile hit from the backside;
  • Large cave spider can now summon small spiders for help;
  • MRP-1 no longer awards faction points during capture if the player dies because of the environment;
  • Fixed incorrect placement of equipment for MSR-12;
  • Fixed a bug due to which in rare cases premium stashes were visible to other players;
  • Achievements for resource gathering have been reset as they were counted incorrectly. Those who were obtained these achievements will receive them automatically the next time when a pickaxe or shovel is used;
  • Added 6 new achievements.

Minor fix for version 0.55.6

Good day, fighters!

We’ve published a minor fix for version 0.55.6, in which we fixed the next things:

  • “Premium stash” now visible only to their owners and now they don't bother no one;
  • Unexpected bug with quests such as “Strange map”, “NDP-detector” and so on has been fixed;
  • Fireworks launching sounds have been fixed and now they reduce sound by distance;
  • The setting of PO-1, PO-2, POSP optical sights have been adjusted for all resolutions. Let us note, that optical sights are focused mainly on 16:9 resolution scale, so owners of 4:3 screen dimensions will not feel any changes.

Lunar New Year in update 0.55.6!

Good day, fighters!

Today we've published update 0.55.6, which includes the "Lunar New Year" event, many in-game achievements and improvements have been added. Oh yes, we also added an RPG-7.

[h2]The "Lunar New Year"[/h2]
A mysterious old man in a white robe appeared in the settlements. He said that if you appease the spirits of the elements, you can get not only their favor and protection but also rewards.



Complete this old man's quests to appease the five Elemental Spirits and get themed weapon skins. All quests can be completed only once. Also, you will receive holiday snacks as a reward when you complete any quests in the game.



The event will run from February 11 to February 17 inclusive. The NPC will stay in the locations for a while so that everyone can complete the quests. All items needed to complete the old man's tasks will be removed from the game at the end of the event.

[h2]"Premium stash"[/h2]
Now the owners of a subscription to "Premium Status" can place a special "premium stash" in the location. This stash can be used only by the character who placed it and only with an active "premium status". In other words, no one else will ever be able to ransack this stash, not even other characters in your account and characters from your group. The "Premium Stash" holds extra 50 kilograms in weight and has 5 more slots than a regular stash.

Note that if your "premium status" has expired, then you will not be able to pick up items from such stash: you need to activate the "premium status".

[h2]RPG-7[/h2]

Ultimate, powerful and expensive! It has two types of charges: fragmentation and shaped charge. A fragmentation charge works simply: it hits targets with shards within a certain radius (more powerful than grenades).



Shaped charge acts differently. It penetrates buildings, structures, and even stones and it is capable of hitting targets not only in the explosion zone but also inside shelters, as in the illustration below. The main advantage of this projectile is precisely that it is capable of destroying targets (enemy manpower, equipment, etc.) inside buildings and behind shelters.



The weapon and the projectiles for it require the clan to have opened "Faction Arsenal" technology.

[h2]In-game achievements[/h2]

We continue to develop in-game achievements and this time we have added 83 new achievements. Thus, the total number of achievements at the moment is 155, of which 46 are hidden. We plan to further develop our own system of achievements and we do not use achievements on Steam since this version. They will be removed from Steam in the near future (those players who already have achievements on Steam will have them, but we are not sure).

[h2]Other changes:[/h2]

- Improved the work of the monocular (now it correctly identifies monsters, and also learned to identify enemy NPCs). Also, the monocular received a night mode;
- Replaced some sounds of the environment in the "Canyon" location (including those that caused problems for streamers);
- Visually improved and optimized explosion particles;
- Dance animations now play cyclically;
- Fixed a bug that allowed to install of "MRP" and "MHP" inside large stones;
- Improved behavior of a huge cave spider;
- Reduced the cost of G43.300 shells for the grenade launcher (fireworks);
- In-game merchants now have Fireworks for sale, which can only be launched at night;
- The reticle now scales correctly when using low resolutions, as well as resolutions in 4: 3 format;
- Many quest dialogs now display the quest reward before the quest is accepted.

Hotfix for update 0.55.5

Today we've released a hotfix, in which we improved the Achievements section of the PDA, made some changes in the design of the Canyon location, improved the mechanisms of protection against unfair receipt of chevrons and reputation "laundering", and also made other improvements.



List of changes:

  • Devices such as MRP-1, MHP-1, and the jammer no longer emit sounds when discharged. Also, if MRP-1 and MHP-1 have no charge, the visualization of the dome disappears.
  • If jammer installed in a safe zone that cannot be hacked, it discharges very quickly;
  • Fixed various animation issues;
  • Fixed a problem with the items pick up animation;
  • At the entrance to the "Canyon" location in sector C1, radio anomalies and various shelters have been added;
  • Additional teleportation points have been added for the radio anomaly at the respawn in the caves in the "Canyon" location;
  • The section "Achievements" in the PDA has been improved: now on each achievement its prevalence among players is displayed, and if you wish, you can enable a simplified view of the list of achievements;
  • Improved protection mechanism against artificial "laundering" of reputation and chevrons;
  • Corrections were made to the telnyashka and shirt models.
