Good day, fighters!

Today we released a small update 0.57.7, which contains some improvements.



The premium for the May holidays


This weekend many countries celebrate "Labor Day", or "International Workers' Day", as well as "Day of the Unity of Peoples". Regardless of the name and traditions, our team congratulates everyone with the upcoming holiday!

All players who log into the game from the moment the update is released until May 1, 23:59 UTC inclusive, will be awarded 72 hours premium status.

"Solidarity" paint cans


The "Solidarity" skin is once again available in the in-game store for a limited time and at a discount. This time, the "Solidarity" skin is in the form of a paint can.



Changes list


- AMD FSR technology was updated to version 2.2
- Minor improvements have been made to the Minayev mine design;

Update 0.57.6 is now available for download!

Fighters, we have some bad news! Update 0.57.6 will not be released this Friday. It is available for download now. This version adds a new, rare in-game event, as well as various improvements and fixes to the game.



The "Project-X" event


Some of you may have seen this event in the game before. This event has been the source of many rumors and theories, no one could ever have predicted the next launch of this event. Some even thought it was a fake and a hoax. We can now pull back the curtain of secrecy and officially announce that the Project-X event has been finalized and officially added to the game. It will happen more often, on all servers, not just a few, and in different locations. It is going to be very rare and very unexpected!

An April Fool's Day mini-event


The April Fool's mini-event is gaining! The other day you've already started experiencing inexplicable anomalies in the game, with lizards not where they usually are, or having to play for a crate. The stakes have been raised, and now from tomorrow the various things that can't be tolerated without a burn ointment will happen even more often! However, now you'll have to do a bit of Wubba Lubba Dub Dub to get the amulet bonuses as well.

Other changes


  • We continue to fill in the world of our game, and this time the houses in the Engineering Settlement have been improved;
  • A quick hit with the Combat Bream no longer causes weapons to lock and character movement problems;
  • Combat Bream will no longer move the character in the 3D inventory view;
  • Fixed an issue where multiple tracks were playing at the same time during events;
  • The cursed house in the abandoned camp has been made even creepier;
  • The quick ammo type change button has been removed from the game, but the ammo type change itself works and will be done automatically or through the inventory when needed.
  • Various minor location design issues have been fixed.

Description of the update 0.57.5

Good day, fighters! Today we have prepared update 0.57.5, adding new quests, various improvements, and new objects. The mechanics of lock-picking doors and fishing have been reworked, various many minor errors and shortcomings have been fixed.



The fire department at the "Minaev's Territories"


The new object has appeared not far away from Depot in the "Minaev's Territories" location - the Fire Department.



This area will be interesting to 7-10lvl players and contains several mini-quests. Also, players will be able to find a safe in this area with good rewards for these levels. Thus, the world of Will To Live Online becomes more filled.

Updated lockpick mechanics


Lock-picking of the doors is now interactive and directly depends on your skills as a player.



Players have to find the correct sequence of the pins. As a reward for lock-picking (in addition to the items already available), the player who opens the lock will be able to get additional valuable loot in the stashes behind this door. Thus, by opening doors with lockpicks, players will receive more valuable loot than before.

1) The difficulty of lock-picking is determined by the number of pins.
2) Attempts to press the pins (both successful and unsuccessful) can break lockpicks. A failed attempt has a higher chance to break the lockpick.
3) The corresponding Engineer skills will no longer increase the chance of lockpicking, but increase the chance of saving lockpicks.
4) Boxes behind closed doors (many, but not all) now realize they are hidden behind these doors. After opening the lock of the door for the character who performed this opening, it becomes possible to receive additional loot in one of the boxes that are behind this door. Moreover, the quantity and quality of loot are depend on the complexity of the castle, and the “bonus” itself is valid only once after the fact of opening. Then the more difficult the hacked door lock, the better the reward.
5) In the "Canyon" location the doors at the outposts are closed with 4 pins locks - they are easy enough to crack (approximately 7-15 seconds). We didn't make these doors difficult to open, as players use closed doors as a tactical element.

The "Dead Forest" location


The color correction of the "Dead Forest' location has been made. Now, this location looks even more atmospheric at any time of the day and in any weather at the maximum settings.





New fishing mechanic


Players can no longer search for letters on the keyboard while fishing. While fishing, you need to hold the fish so that it does not fall off the line and gently pull it out when it gets tired of resisting.

  • Removed all debuffs from fried Crab Heart.
  • Added new in-game achievements.
  • Fixed incorrect inscription on the Kite-2 scope.
  • Added new quests in the "Tunnels" and in the "Forestry" locations.
  • Removed the ability to install MHP and MRP inside trucks at the Canyon location.
  • The problem with some boxes that could not be inspected has been fixed at the "Coast" location

  • Silencer skins have been added to the in-game store.
  • Fixed a problem with the “Radio” anomaly in the “Forestry” location in sector D2-1.
  • The quest “Bear Meat” in the “Swamp” location now displays the quest point on the mini-map when completing the quest.
  • Fixed a problem with the localization of notes from the “Exclusion Zone” location.
  • The problem with excessive darkening in some places of the "Minaev's Territory" location has been fixed.
  • Hacking the command core at roadblocks will be slightly more difficult (in all locations).
  • New random music can now play as ambient in locations
  • AMD FSR technology has been updated to version 2.1.2.
  • Game settings are divided into categories combined by meaning.

"Lunar New Year" event has begun!

Fighters, the Lunar New Year event has begun!



The Old man in a white robe has reappeared in many settlements! Again, he told the story that if you appease the elemental spirits, you can get not only their location and favor but also a reward. Complete this Old man's quests to appease five Elemental Spirits and earn themed weapon skins! All tasks can only be completed once. Also, in exchange for fillers of each of the colors, you can get a can of special paint that reacts to your weapon shots! In addition, you will be rewarded with holiday snacks for completing quests in the game.



Special holiday packs have been added in the in-game store, which contain not only snacks and paint but also a special mask for the character.

The event will last until January 28 00:00 UTC, after which fillers will no longer appear in the game and you will have time to complete all the tasks of the Old man.

Good day, fighters!

Traders from the Canyon, Testing Grounds, and Coast have expanded their assortment: they have received a batch of silencers that will fit all the most powerful weapons. Silencers are an interesting thing. They allow you to fight stealthily: the target that catches the bullet will not see the damage identifier, and where this bullet actually comes from. But there is a price to pay for stealth. Silencers increase accuracy, but reduce damage - this is indicated in the description of both the silencers themselves and in the weapon description after they are installed. Moreover, silencers reduce damage not from the base value, but from the final one. Therefore, here some players may have misunderstandings, but everything is smooth there.

In the Tunnels location, Alyosha, wearing very high-quality branded music headphones, has new tasks that open a line of nine quests. Also, seven mini-quests appeared in the Exclusion Zone location. Objects in the Testing Grounds and Coast locations have been optimized. We also fixed issues with the crabs from the "Coast", now they spawn correctly.
