Creaks is Amanita Design's Next Game

Hello!

I am excited to announce that our next game 'Creaks' is coming to Steam next year!

We just launched the Steam page (which is also where you can check out the first teaser trailer and a handful of screenshots) so you can easily add Creaks to your wishlist.

Creaks is being developed by one of Amanita’s new teams, headed by Czech designer and artist Radim Jurda. The music (for both the teaser and the game) was done by Scottish composer and multi-instrumentalist Joe Acheson aka Hidden Orchestra.

Follow Creaks on Steam so you don't miss any of the upcoming details!

'Cherries on Air' on a Cherry Red LP!

DVA's adorably wacky soundtrack to CHUCHEL is now available on a 180g audiophile quality LP!

We just had to go with the cherry red color - it actually looks like an LP-shaped cherry candy. Chuchel would eat that, but you probably shouldn't. Just playing it is sweet too, though!

If you enjoyed CHUCHEL's music, check out the record in our store: 'Cherries on Air' LP

You can listen to the album in full on DVA's Bandcamp.

DVA are a Czech alternative folk duo best known for use of fictional languages and the amazing soundtrack to Botanicula which received the IGF Excellence in Audio award in 2012. They often describe their music as 'pop for non-existent broadcasters'.

CHUCHEL VS. BitSummit Vol.6

Ever heard of BitSummit?

It's a lovely indie games festival taking place in Kyoto. We've been there with Samorost 3 a couple of years ago and now we came back with CHUCHEL. As you would imagine, it was tons of fun to meet with fellow devs, fans and newcomers. However there was one particularly amazing moment.

Watching parents play CHUCHEL with their children is always as heartwarming as it gets. So at this year's BitSummit there was this little kid who was a bit... careless about the game at first. Almost critical. But his dad wanted to try it anyway. And I'm so happy he did, because after a couple of minutes just dazedly watching the screen, that same kid hurried to sit on his dad's lap, took the headphones and became completely enchanted, smiling and curiously clicking on literally everything.

I didn't understand a single thing they were saying because they were only speaking Japanese, but it sure felt great.

They came back twice to play some more.

Finally there was a little cherry on top of all that - a 'Media Highlight' award from Dengeki PlayStation! :chuchelwow:

See you again, Kyoto!
