Devil’s Spit was the first Wands spell that we created, and it’s been a fan favorite since launch day.
It may appear to be a simple fireball at first glance, but it has a unique twist that makes it perfectly suited to VR. It’s also the only attack whose damage and mana cost have never been changed since the game was released. It’s not a particularly fast or powerful attack, yet countless players find it useful.
So what makes this spell so special? You can curve the fireball's trajectory however you want! In VR, with full stereoscopic vision and precise hand-tracked controllers, Devil’s Spit is always a pleasure to cast. The spell has been buffed, but not by the dev team. As VR hardware has improved, Devil’s Spit has become easier to use, because better tracking makes aiming it almost effortless.
Some advanced dueling techniques with Devil’s Spit include curving it around obstacles, making it boomerang through your opponent, and even bouncing it off Devil’s Twins. There are countless other ways to use this spell to your advantage, and discovering them is loads of fun.
