We have just released the a PC patch for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, build 453.0.

This patch will be applied by Steam automatically when you next start the game. If your game does not update, please restart the Steam client.

This is an update of the previous patch 443.0, reintroducing the features added in that patch while avoiding the issues reported by players after the last release.

New features and upgrades in this patch include:
  • Upgraded NVIDIA DLSS to the latest version.
  • New improved shadow denoiser for use with ray traced shadows.
  • Updates to multiplayer infrastructure to use Epic Online Services. Use of an Epic account is entirely optional.
  • Fixed specific compatibility issues with Intel GPU hardware.


Epic and Steam account linking and crossplay.


1) If you’ve never linked your Steam and Epic accounts, you can launch and play Tomb Raider through Steam just as you always could.

2) If you have previously linked your Steam and Epic accounts the game will not automatically use your linked account. If you wish make use of your linked accounts, please enable the feature from the options menu>>multiplayer.

3) You can unlink your Steam account via your Epic account settings, or disable the use of it from the in-game menu.

We have just released the a PC patch for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, build 449.0. This patch focuses on fixing a number of compatibility issues with specific hardware setups.

This patch will be applied by Steam automatically when you next start the game. If your game does not update, please restart the Steam client.

Fixes included in this patch

Upcoming Tomb Raider anime will continue the reboot trilogy story


Resting place defiler Lara Croft will be breaking into your TV screens to star in a new animated series—an announcement that is giving me déjà vu, so full as my brain is of television adaptations of gaming series. This is indeed new information though, as announced by your friends at Netflix who cannot stop tossing cash at video game adaptations.

Ray tracing is the hot new graphics tech of 2021, and Nvidia have just announced another fresh crop of ray tracing and DLSS games that are coming to PC later this year. To help you keep track of them all, I’ve created this list of all the confirmed ray tracing games you can play on PC right now, as well which ones will be getting ray tracing support in the future. And because ray tracing tends to go hand in hand with Nvidia’s performance-boosting DLSS tech these days, I’ve also listed all the current and upcoming games that support DLSS as well.

[26-05-2020] PC Patch Notes for patch 1.0.298 (Patch #19)

We have just released the eighteenth PC patch for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, build 1.0.298. This patch focuses primarily on a fix for support for the next Window 10 update.

This patch will be applied by Steam automatically when you next start the game. If your game does not update, please restart the Steam client.

New fixes included in this patch:

  • Adds a fix for support of the next Window 10 update;


While we expect this patch to be an improvement for everyone, if you do have trouble with this patch and prefer to stay on the old version, we have made a Beta available on Steam, Build 294, that can be used to switch back to the previous version.
