Team News of the end of the year

Hello! This is TEAM HORAY.

It seems like it's the first time we've written a post that isn't a patch note.

First of all, we would like to say thank you for your interest in our team and Dungreed for a long time.

To celebrate the coming of the new year, We want to share some of our work.




A New Game (Under Development)


From the beginning of 2021 to the present, we are developing a new game.

The game's name is Sephiria. It's a top-down view action roguelite set in a ruined world and tells the story of animals living in it. We are developing hard to make the game fun.

This is previews of the game in development.



To add a bit more explanation, This is an inventory in Sephiria. "Charms" and "Stont Tablets" are main items in the game. Placing a stone tablet near a charm will strengthen a charm. To get more stronger, you need to handle your inventory well.



So far, We are not sure if the game is fun or well made... :O
But we think if we keep developing and researching hard, we'll definitely find a good answer!

A release date has not been set yet. We'll share more the development status of the game through the community in the future. Please look forward to it!




Dungreed Mobile

The mobile version of Dungreed is coming to iOS and Android!

The porting of the mobile version has been going on slowly for a really long time, and we are very happy to finally show you.

The mobile version of Dungreed will be released in early January 2023. (Soon!)

It is sold as a paid app and includes the same content as the PC version of Dungreed. Enjoy Dungreed with touch controls designed for the mobile environment. (Controllers are also supported)




New Contents update for Dungreed


We are always looking at your feedbacks. Thank you all!
We'll tell you about the update of new contents. We plan to add a new biome, add items, new systems, and improve some old systems. But we are currently concentrating on developing new games, so until now it's nothing to show you yet.

The updates will be developed in parallel with the new game so it has not been decided when the update will be uploaded. Details related to the new update will be shared again later. :)

1.6.5 Minor Updates

Hello!
1.6.5 Minor updates is about platforms compatibility changes.

Update Unity Engine version

We've been developing Dungreed with Unity 5 for a long time. we've updated to 2020 to ensure app compatibility and to reduce crashes beyond our control. Hopefully this decision will increase compatibility.
If you cannot launch the game after the update or if the game crashes, please feel free to contact us.

[h2]Notice for OSX users[/h2]
Dungreed supports both Intel x64 and Apple Silicon now!
In 1.6.5 updates, Mac OS version of Dungreed will change the app execution path because older version of execution path wasn't correct.
After the update, save files may not load normally.
The path of the steam cloud is also changed, so it is recommended to back-up the save file before running the game.
* Save files path before 1.6.4 :
[dungreed installation folder]/Contents/Resources/Data/StreamingAssets
* Save files path on 1.6.5 :
[dungreed installation folder]/Dungreed.app/Contents/Resources/Data/StreamingAssets


Steam Deck Verified

Dungreed is included in Steam Deck verified list now.

bug fixes

- Linux OS: Fixed a bug where the game would crash when Lasley appeared (12F or Boss rush).
- Fixed a bug where keyboard input was sometimes ignored on the title menu.
- Changed some UI behavior errors.

For console players : Patch 1.6 for Nintendo Switch and PS4 was uploaded last week. Thank you for your patience. We know you were waiting for the 1.6 update for the console version, but the porting process is handled by publisher and we have very little direct control, so we're really sorry that we couldn't help you directly for the delay. If you find a bug, please feel free to contact us.

  • Impulsive Jumper, Arsha, and Devana: Fixed an issue where the effect would not disappear after the battle ended.

  • Strawberry: The rarity has been changed. (Legendary → Rare)
  • Fixed an issue where un-unlocked items sometimes appeared in the shop.
  • Fixed an issue where the 'Full Swing' option only applied to one weapon.
  • Changed the display color of the 'Infinite Magazine' option.
  • Fixed an issue where the skill 'Air Spike' did not stop casting even after dying.

  • (Item) Rapier of Super Speed : Fixed a bug where the "Air Spike" skill would not stop even if the player was stunned.
  • (Save and quit) Fixed a bug that changed to normal mode when reconnecting after entering hard mode.
  • (Localization) Fixed some typos.

  • (Item) Moon walker: Fixed a bug where dodge was not activated sometimes.
  • (Village) Now disables the quick start feature in the Cemetery.
  • (UI) You can now sell items by dragging them into the shop.

  • (Save and quit) Fixed a bug where hard mode was canceled when reconnecting after using dimension box.

1.6.3 Update

  • Room-turners, Odile Sceptor: Summoned allies have been changed to attack normal monsters before the boss.
  • Boomerang: Fixed an issue where continuous shooting was not possible. Fixed an issue where you could not attack immediately even if you received a boomerang made of Scatter Bullets.
  • Savage Axe: Fixed an issue where skill projectiles and melee attacks were applied at the same time.
  • Twin Shortswords: Added Gold and Platinum versions.
  • Changed the set effect of 'Predation'. (Add +25 Power)

  • Some changes have been made to the room structure of Boss Rush and Dungeon.

  • A check is performed every time you return to village to avoid missing item unlocks after defeating Kaminela.

  • Asterios: Changed the spawn rate to 100%.
  • Impulsive Jumper: Improved pattern visibility. Added delay to some of the patterns.
  • Arsha (Boss Rush): Changed the pattern order.

  • Fixed an issue where inventory could be closed by clicking the close button while strengthening the anvil.
  • Shop Reroll: Regardless of the “reload” key binding, reroll has been changed to be controlled with [R key] (keyboard) and [X button] (X-Input gamepad).
  • Fixed a bug where the game would sometimes freeze when skipping credits after clearing Ericha.

  • Fixed an issue where ‘Build’ would not appear when talking to Yulford in some situations.
  • Fixed an issue where the 'Infinite Magazine' option only applied to one weapon.
