Greetings to all preppers around the world!

If you would like to be a part of development and help us with the production this article is for you :) (Not open beta yet! Don't shout at us please).

Mr. Prepper game has a newspaper mechanics. The government inform it's citizens about various things via the newspapers. You, as a Prepper, will need to deal with the information that paper contains and decide how to react. The newspaper will include several types of news; game events, world information etc. but to make our news look real we decided to put some randomized and more ordinary articles inside. For those who are interested not only in things that have an impact on the gameplay there will be sections that provide some stories from the prepper's country.

And here is the deal; if you would like to see your article/news in game this is your chance. We are going to collect your propositions and select the most suitable and most interesting for the setting and put them in game.

Here are some details that you should follow during writing the article:

- Game's world timeline is set at '90s but due to alternate development of the country you feels like it's more like 80' in some aspects.

- The language that is used by the goverment is mostly specific for the totalitarian countries. It's not necessary to force that writing style everywhere but it's good to have that in mind :)

- Topics are free; you can write about anything; funny things, scary stuff, military topics etc. The point is to make it interesting.

- Length of those articles is set from 250 to 600 character limit.

Greetings to all preppers around the world!

The Mr. Prepper game has become very, very popular - We are extremely grateful to the entire prepper community! Thank you guys! Due to this fact we stood before the choice; make the game “acceptable”, release it this year and then try to make it “best” in future patches or… Or make the best game but without rush. It was a hard choice. We read the threads and questions you write on the community, we read them all, we discuss them and we always try to make the game as you want it to be. During the production we have collected many requests in this matter. We asked you “What would you like to see in the game, preppers?” and you gave us a lot of cool ideas. Now it’s time to implement the best of them. The game will become bigger than we expected and hence we would like to ask your for more time. We are fully aware that you are waiting for the game, we are doing our best to make the game worth your attention but still, this process needs time. If you will give us time until May 2019 we will give you good game in return.

In the words of the greatest Shigeru Miyamoto:

“A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever.”

Let’s make a good game :)

And here we have some production updates:
The game will soon pass all the internal tests and we will be able to prepare the closed-beta for you. There will be official notification about it and we will ask for your opinion about our product. Also soon we will provide you with some in-game materials such as movies and screens of the new content.

New Teaser arrived!

We are glad to announce that Mr. Prepper has its own teaser now! :)

It presents some hints of the main mechanics, if you look closely you will be able to spot;

- Life support systems like; greenhouses, water treatment station
- Warehouses, patries, cold rooms; if you produce food you need to make sure it's fresh :)
- Workshop with Prepper's worktable - all you make has its beginning here
- Rocket building process - we know that it's a mysterious thing, however we assure that it's worth it

- Agents! Be aware! - one of the main game-driving mechanics; those bastards will try to catch you red-handed, you need to be very convincing.
