The Final Crystal League Championship: Wrapup

It is with some sadness that we say farewell to the Crystal League Championship, which took place for the last time at the weekend. But it’s also time to celebrate the achievements of Moral Pro and Last Season, who took the final titles on East and West respectively!

On Saturday 16 September, the top 8 teams on Albion East squared off, and after a tough route to the Grand Finale, Moral Pro beat 1073 Days 2-0 to claim the crown. Then, on Sunday 17, Last Season put in a dominant display on Albion West, storming to their ultimate victory with a 2-0 defeat of Mitos, who had made it to the final for the fourth season running.

Congratulations to the top four teams on each server, who took home the following prizes:
 • First Place: the extremely rare Saber Tiger Rex Swiftclaw skin and 10,000 Gold
 • Second Place: the Recruiter’s White Tiger Swiftclaw skinand 5,000 Gold
 • Third Place: the Recruiter’s Giant Frog mount and 5,000 Gold
 • Fourth Place: the Occult Cougar Swiftclaw skin and 5,000 Gold

And with that, the Crystal League Championship comes to an end for the final time. But Albion’s next Guild Season is just around the corner, starting September 23, and we hope to see our top 5v5 players continuing to test their mettle in the Crystal Arena and Crystal League. So see you then!

Wild Blood is Coming October 16

Wild Blood is drawing close: October 16 sees the release of Albion’s latest content update, unleashing its primal side. Shapeshifter Weapons allow players to embody fearsome creatures in combat, while Tracking lets you hunt them across the open world. New, powerful potions can be crafted from their remains, and Awakened Items with unique attributes can be developed through combat. With improvements to player islands and farming, visually reworked Randomized Dungeons, and more, Wild Blood brings new layers to Albion’s sandbox world.
Take on New Forms
Wild Blood brings some of Albion’s most primal magic to the fore, which can be harnessed with the all-new Shapeshifter Weapons. This Staff weapon line lets players metamorphosize into fantastical creatures mid-combat, expanding the limits of Albion’s ‘you are what you wear’ system. Meanwhile, these beasts can be pursued across the open world in the Tracking system, and can drop new artifacts and ingredients to successful hunters, imbued with their magical essence.
Awaken Your Power
The rare, alchemical ingredients dropped by each of these rare beasts can be used to craft brand-new potions with their own formidable effects, introducing further new combat possibilities, while rare Arcane Extracts can enchant potions to levels not seen before. And Awakened Items are coming, which can be imbued with more powerful attributes through their use in combat, becoming records of their own illustrious past. And while these risk being lost in combat, their unique traits live on, persisting through Albion’s history as it is written.
Lands Enriched
Players can now own multiple Personal Islands, which are each linked to a specific city and have stunning new visuals to reflect the distinctive atmosphere of each biome. Each of these now has its own farming bonuses for crops, herbs, and animals, bringing further economic depth to Albion and encouraging trade across the far-flung corners of the Royal Continent. Meanwhile, Randomized Dungeons have expressive new visuals, reworked layouts, and new enemies. And numerous further improvements are coming too, like the Death Recap, which allows players to review and learn from their defeats in combat, becoming ever more fearsome warriors.

Wild Blood expands the possibilities of life in Albion in new ways, opening up exciting avenues to all types of players. For more details on all this, check the official update page:

Island Move Available Now

With the Wild Blood update on the way, exciting new changes are coming to Personal Islands and Farming. Players will be able to own multiple personal islands, and each of these will have its own biome, linked to a specific city, with bonuses to crops, herbs, and animals.

With this in mind, a window is open for you to move your personal island in advance of these changes, allowing you to select the location which best suits you. This move period runs until October 16, during which time you can move your island only once.

There are some further important rules to acknowledge:
 • Islands must have been created before maintenance on September 16 to be movable
 • Islands cannot be moved to or from Brecilien
 • Island moves are final and irreversible

Guild Season Wrapup: 20 West / 2 East

Another Guild Season is over, and it’s time to announce the winners. So congratulations to Escalation, who won Albion West Season 20, and Winter, who took Albion East Season 2! Read on for a rundown of each server’s season.
Albion West: Escalation Claim Second Crown
Season 20 started where Season 19 had left off, as the war between the POE coalition and the XXX coalition raged on. This would carry on throughout the season, as POE pushed back, and towards the end of the Season the XXX alliance folded, with the FFlow alliance taking over the coalition to spearhead the fight going into Season 21.

In the north, the Grap3 alliance held their territories against countless attacks throughout the Season, and were able to keep pushing forward as they ended the season with three of their guilds hitting Crystal rank.

Escalation came into the Season declaring victory would be theirs, and they lived up to their word, grinding out open-world objectives and paying out huge amounts of Silver to their Crystal League teams. This led to their second season win, but their greatest achievement was claiming the top spot on the all time Guild PvP Fame charts, ending the season with a total of 125.3 billion PvP Fame.
Albion East: Winter Go Out On Top
As Albion East’s second season got underway, Winter (pictured below - click to expand) announced that they would push for top spot, and they started with a bang, grinding out all the objectives they could in the open world. While that was going on, the battle for second place was going on between GOBLINS and Order of Ares, and as the season drew to a close this contest really heated up.

With Winter announcing that they'd be folding at the end of the season, many of its members were already joining a new guild: send. GOBLINS saw an opportunity to secure Winter’s inner-ring territories, which had around 40,000 Season Points in storage, and launched into them, not expecting a strong defense. But Order of Ares were one step ahead, having gotten wind of their plans, and called on their allies to drop their territories for them. Order of Ares held onto sixty territories total on the final day of points payouts, with Winter also massing for one last time as players came back into the guild for one last call to arms, fighting back the attackers and keeping hold of their territories. After the fighting subsided, Winter handed the 40,000 Season Points over to Order of Ares with the territories, allowing them to secure a whopping 110,000 Season Points from territory payouts and launching them into second spot, closing out the season 50,000 points ahead of GOBLINS.

At the end of the Season, Shy, Winter’s Guildmaster and Shotcaller, had this to say:

"Season 2 on Albion East will be an unforgettable memory for me, and I will always be grateful to all the guild members who followed me. Even though I’m leaving, I hope my fellow Winter members will always be successful."

Round Table Reboot: Seeking Quality Feedback!

We are excited to announce the launch of a new version of Albion’s Round Table! This is going to be open to more players than ever before, while still sticking to our original vision of giving our most experienced and well-accomplished players a way to share their knowledge.
What is the Round Table?
At its core, the Round Table is a place for discussion and feedback about the game and its various types of content, where experienced and knowledgeable players come together in a constructive dialogue. The feedback gathered is then forwarded directly to our developers, giving them the opportunity to hear the joys and pains of gameplay first-hand.

With this rework, we’re looking to include experts in as many different playstyles and features as possible.

Applications are now open! The new iteration starts with the next Guild Season.

We are looking for people who:
 • Specialize in specific aspects of the game
 • Have long-term experience in the game
 • Are motivated to help improve the game in every way possible
 • Can write feedback in a polite and constructive way
If this describes you, please head over to this Forum post for more details.

We look forward to seeing you there!
