XP EVENT
During the next two weeks, XP is gained at 150% its normal rate and the XP cap per match has been doubled!
Map Adjustments
Every level has had its lighting rebuilt from scratch for better performance and to be visually more pleasant. The fog in each level has also been adjusted to prevent the blinding effect that happens when I forget to check and see what lower settings look like...
New Map : WonderlandAn insane asylum built to torture the poor Light Bearers.
Map Rework : Plagued SewersWe hear you, Plagued Sewers was voted the absolute worst map in not only Light Bearers but in the history of bad maps. We rebuilt it to support more jumping space, more freedom and still maintain the punishment for falling into water.
Map Adjustment : Frozen MazeWe removed the wind that knocked down players, now you can roam freely on the walls!

Shadow RotationNew Shadow : Hallow
Primary : Throw an explosive pumpkin that will chase nearby bears.
Secondary : Send out roots causing any bears struck by it to be rooted for a few seconds (dashing breaks root)
Ultimate : Turn into a giant rolling pumpkin!
New Shadow : Pestilence
Primary : Tosses a gas canister that leaves behind shade gas (5 Stacks will infect a bear)
Secondary : Disease nearby bears with a vomit inducing sickness (Each time they vomit, they gain a stack)
Ultimate : Place down a plague stone, once at least 4 are down all bears start building stacks of shade.
Special Note : All diseases can be cured by entering and leaving a hiding spot.Kit Adjustment : Nox
Secondary : Decoys now create a beam between each decoy and Nox infecting any bears that run between. (requires line of sight between them)
Ultimate : Reduced duration from 8 seconds to 4 seconds

Ultimate : Prevents bears from outside of dimension rifts from seeing bears inside of them, and visa versa. Added a cool little visual effect as well!

Blessing Adjustment
New Blessings!Loki's Mask : Activate to become temporarily invisible
Odin's Eye : Activate to see shadows through walls
Heimdallr's Escape : Prevents you from being converted, consumes itself on shadow touch.
Dolos' Blink : Activate to teleport to a random spot
Gelatonos' Boing : Become bouncy!
Aite's Trickery : Disguise yourself as a nearby prop!
Body Adjustment
In celebration of adding passives to all the bodies except the starter one, we have decided to make all bodies aside from Bearnana free! :)Body Passives (please note percentages may change if balancing issues pop up post release)
- Chubby : Does not slip on ice. Has an 8% chance to leave ice behind after each step.
- Captain : Periodically gives themself and nearby bears of the same alignment a speed boost.
- Pawsassin : Can double jump
- School! : 25% cooldown reduction
- Luchabear : Upon landing after falling from a large height, knockback nearby players.
- Dance Fever : Can capture a blessing pad twice as fast.
- Genesis : Gain and Lose 15% more points!
- Wings : Has a slow fall.
- Poncho Bearo : Can stay in hiding places 50% longer.
- Doc Bearaday : Upon saving or infecting a bear, you are able to see the other team through walls for a short duration.
- Beardito : Can jump 50% higher.
- Bearnana : Has a 4% chance to drop a banana peel behind while walking.
- Reaps : Saving or Infecting a bear will refresh your abilities.
- Ghastly : Can walk through bears and shadow walls!
- Glitch : Scoring 200 points gives you a boon, 30% chance for it to be a negative one.
New Cosmetics
- New Body : Reaps (Roll in style in this body fashioned after a player who has the most hours of anyone in Light Bearers!)
- New Body : Ghastly (Spooky!)
- New Body : Glitch (Why not a body to fit in with all the bugs that seem to be playing their own version of hide and seek!)
- New Body Color : Game Breaker (A lot of people asked for it, so here you go!)

General Changes
- Added a new system for kicking, that will auto kick anyone that is able to circumvent the kicked system.
- Added a message to indicate a player is not in the current shadow pool (If they are opted into being shadow, they will be placed into the pool once it has been reset)
- Added a Shadow Roulette wheel to display the current players that are in the Shadow Pool
- Added a subtle gold flash on Hiding places for anyone level 15 or lower
- Added Passives for bear bodies (They are only active in Shadow Favored)
- Added a subtle effect for when a shadow goes through a nether portal
- Added an additional check to make sure cosmetics are loaded
- Added the ability to press F1 to see what your current blessing does
- Added new functionality to make hiding places cleanse most debuffs
- Added a few extra tips.
- Added a cumulative timer to hiding places, it resets on round end.
- Added a twinkle effect to some stars
- Added a character limit to chat of 128 characters
- Added a small animation to Wall Spawning
- Added a speed buff for Shadow Bears that clear a Blessing Pad
- Added collision on a branch in Spooky Cemetery
- Added a timer for blessing pads to move them after a set time.
- Adjusted Blessing rewards to no longer give you the blessing you currently have
- Adjusted Divina to properly go on cooldown on use
- Adjusted scoring code to guarantee players receive their points
- Adjusted escape code in order to prevent players that escape from being tagged
- Adjusted pings to display actual pings, please note that some connections will return as 0 even though they are not the host. This is a visual error caused by firewalls.
- Adjusted all buffs/debuffs by moving them server side to assist with anti-cheating and more importantly reliable destruction and creation.
- Reworked touch collisions to give more accurate infecting and saving!
- Reworked Shadow point gain in order to balance overall match scoring. (Being Shadow no longer guarantees a high placement on the board)
- Reworked the leveling system to use a curve instead of milestones, leveling pre 150 is faster and feels more streamlined.
- Reworked crouch mechanic for blessing pads. Blessing pads passive gain was reduced to 1/10th of what it was but the gain from crouch spam has been increased 10x effectively making crouching impactful.
- Reworked code for blessing pads to make the visual indicator interpolate client side for a cleaner experience
- Removed kicking for AFK, now it will just move to spectator and remove points.
- Optimized some code in both the UI and Game.
- Updated all map preview images that needed an update.
- Increased Level Cap to 1000
- Fixed a bug where spamming hide would sometimes leave you completely stuck
- Fixed a bug where XP would visually not look like its gaining.
- Fixed a bug where sometimes late joining a match would show "None is playing (Blank)"
- Fixed a nether portal that was broken in Yule Town
- Fixed a bug that would cause a player not to be moved after being saved.
- Fixed a few outlier sounds that were not being adjusted by the volume controls.
- Fixed a bug where Krampus could fall off the edge while charging and retain full control afterwards.
- Fixed a few typos
- Fixed a bug where some hiding places would not show light bears that someone was in it.
- Fixed ultimate spamming from the Shadow
- Fixed a few glitchy spots in both Yule Town and Spooky Cemetery
- Fixed a shader issue that has yielded an additional 30+ fps in a few maps.
- Fixed the camera on a few Shadows that would clip through ceilings
- Fixed a bug where old blessing signs would appear randomly
- Fixed the font for the thanks prompt
- Fixed a giant list of other issues I forgot to write down as i fixed them....
