We are really happy to announce that European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Tim Peake will be streaming Mars Horizon live with Xbox over on Twitch!

Tim Peake became the first official British astronaut to walk in space while on a mission to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2016. He spent six years training for the mission, beating 8,000 other applicants who responded to an ad from the ESA entitled, ‘Do you want to be an astronaut?’. Tim worked on every one of his 186 days in space with the majority of his experiments focussing on what space does to human physiology.

He also, with help from celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal, enjoyed the first bacon sandwich to ever be consumed in space! 🥪

Game Designer Tomas Rawlings talks to devs Jem and Allie about the creation of Mars Horizon the video game and Mars Horizon: Blast Off the board game!

Both games are about running your own space agency and landing the first crewed mission on Mars. Hear about the differences between the games and how they adapted the themes and gameplay for physical and digital. We've got a special livestream of Mars Horizon on Thursday 8th October
2 - 3.30pm UK Time / 3 - 4.30pm CEST / 6 - 7.30 am PT!

A new member of the crew joins the Auroch Digital space agency! Allie joins Jem for a special livestream during the festival. This will be broadcast straight to the Mars Horizon Steam store page and we will be taking questions over the Auroch Discord to answer on stream.
