Whether that's in the middle of washing the dishes, whilst feeding a starving possum or if you are attending a mars peace conference.

It is that time once again... TO CELEBRATE!

You have been with us for another year! That's right, it is Red Solstice 2: Survivors 2nd Anniversary! yep. I know that's is longer that some celebrity marriages.

So of course we want to have a party, and how better to celebrate than to bring in the party people themselves - the Condatis Soldiers aka the Condatis Assault Class!
This lot KNOW how to party and you will now be able to 'party' with them in Skirmish mode.

Now some would say Condatis Soldiers are a liability - always running away, hoarding supplies, cracking jokes in the face of danger (sounds like me) - but honestly, this just sounds like my best buddy Rory after a night out on the town.
So think of it as having your own best buddy named Rory too!



Now the Condatis Soldiers come with the... well, most ABSOLUTE basics of military training. They can hold their breath when it rains a little, they can hold objects with just one hand and they can understand the simplest of instructions. Just for the love of Dog, do not give them a microwave meal to cook - that will be game over for all of us...

The frontline survival rates for these folk are around 20 minutes, but please don't go telling them that to their face. But if they do ask (sometimes they can start to think things), just tell them it's at least 47 to 49 years, but for some reason your friend Bob all of a sudden decided to retire to the countryside... yesterday. Rinse and repeat, insert new name. They never ask for their address...

So in a nutshell, this is what you lucky lucky people are getting!
Class: Condatis Assault
Suit: Modified Solstice Mark II
Pros: Light armor, large inventory of 8 slots, hybrid class
Cons: low life expectancy, basically target practice for those cheeky Howell-Barrex

We all know the term "shop till you drop"? Well we would like to slightly rephrase the saying so it says "STROL is shot till it drops".
In the new patch, you can now earn points which can be turned into prizes! Wait sorry, wrong tag line.
You can now earn points and spend them on things to make the STROL drop!

There is now a points shop where you can by weapons and various fancy equipment.

POINT SHOP AND REQUISITION POINTS
• Added Point Shop where players can buy items and bring it to the game just like in campaign.
• Point shop uses Requisition which can be gained by playing skirmish games and finishing missions.
• Amount of Requisition gained depends on the difficulty.
• Number of slots for brining items depends on the number of players, less players more slots, more players less slots.
• Items can be assigned only when you join a game.

NOTABLE
• Further optimized the game and the UI.
• Optimized monsters further.
• Changed the armory UI so it's easier to navigate.

FIXES
• Various menu fixes and improvements.
• STROL marines chemical bomb don't block rockets.
• Door hunters cannot grab players in UBAS anymore.
• Added health regeneration stat to vehicles in armory.
• Fixed some skill and buff descriptions.
• Fixed numerous navmesh issues.
• Vehicles will not be able to detonate armed pipeline by driving over it.
• Seeker bombs will no longer target and explode on friendlies if designated.
• Medic harvest works with autocannon now.
• Psychotic overload and whale mind assault logistics item will not work on players.
• Cryo bomb won't apply damage twice anymore.
• Fixed animations on Broken Home.
• A lot of small bugfixes on multiple skills.
• Fixed 115 map bugs.

I just want to tell you how I do appreciate you. No, no I've not been taken over by some hideous brain eating STROL - no, I genuinely mean it.

Some would even say, it's been a Labor of Love to genuinely appreciate you and that Labor of Love has turned into some sort of crazy buddy story - that will be told by some animation movie studio, for years to come.
